DI - g'wan ask for a ride

Lizzy your two boys sound just adorable.

Mittz · 23/05/2010 13:55

Vinny... I am speechless!

Knoboid!

My guess on UL&Q would be slugbrains..

My leptons and quarks are deffo un unified.. they are all over the place...

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 23/05/2010 13:58

That's ok saf, lost is good sometimes

ok, heres one.
Whant to take dc out, but said dc has been running ferral and is so disgusting wouldnt want in the car. Now i know that dc will get drenched in river water and mud and will come back in spare clothes and disgusting. So do i shower off and change before going out, or bath twice?

bellavita · 23/05/2010 13:58

SAF - I think you did word it badly because I immediately wanted to put my arms around Norma and give her a hug when I saw what you posted.

UnifyingLeptonsAndQuarks · 23/05/2010 13:59

Sorry to have cocked off just then- nipped out to Somerfield in the vain hope of there being any food left on the shelves for a barbeque later, but, as expected, it was like post-war Poland in there...

Vinny, sorry to laugh, but I am highly amused at your account of the date

My tablets are methotrexate- I won't see any difference in my skin for a couple of months, but as I've been frying in the sun it's looking a bit better anyway just now, so that's good.

To weigh in on the parents-at-parties debate, it's really quite simple- I don't do 'em. Children should be neither seen nor heard in my book, little buggers

The magic power of ice pops

Why is it this heat either makes you go off food or want to eat everything in its path?

Vinny, you poor thing that does indeed sound like a date from hell! I did at putting your tits in your handbag though. What a giant arse, poor you, what a total waste of an evening eh? Sounds like posting the book back is a good idea!

BOF - tis a good view to have. Worried about the side affects of your pills though

Awww thank you Bella, did you have a good time shopping?

Well I managed to eat fairly sensibly at the party, filled up my plate with salad & new potatos though I did also have 2 slices of homemade quiche (oh it was lovely!) & a sliter of birthday cake. I've logged all the points & will do half an houe on the Wii, chicken & salad for tea so should be ok!

bellavita · 23/05/2010 15:35

Norma - well done you on the food. We are having roast beef and salad for tea.

Yes, shopping was good.

NormaSknockers · 23/05/2010 15:38

Did DH sort the ants for you?

OP posts:
Alicetheinvisible · 23/05/2010 15:48

Lovely day

I read the whole party/small children thing and actually thought i had missed some posts. I suppose it depends from what 'angle' you are reading it from. I obviously wouldn't leave DD at a party being only 2.6, but have been to children's parties of age 5 or so where children are left so it is obviously common. Like i say, feel i have just missed something.

Personally i love a buffet so any chance of food and i am THERE! Just try and get rid of me well done Norma though, great restraint!

Vinny - looks like you have taken over Shiney's dating stories from hell

Hi BOF

DH is busy doing stuff today which is great, but he gets into a 'doing stuff mode' which is exhausting as he doesn't relax at all and gets grumpy

DeFluffy · 23/05/2010 15:50

I've caught up to 8pm last night.

SAF - Thank you for reminding me re the agnusssy stuff, still haven't got so will do tomorrow.

Bitter - you total fuck Apologies for the language, and I know you didn't know but I have the WORLD'S WORST PHOBIA of that character. So one minute was feeling your pain at dd's poo tastic adventures, the next was screaming and begging DP to turn it Offffffffffffffff!!!!

BOF - Lovely mannequin, really beautiful. We have the same white cabinet too, I changed the handles for Laura Ashley glass ones, really nice cabinet and fits well in period houses bearing in mind where its from Question for you - has your fireplace surround always been white? Ours is pine and thinking of painting it...

Yay to Alice feeling better but put your feet up!

Yay to sex for Bella!!

Yank - yay to some progress with exh, fingers crossed for more.

NormaSknockers · 23/05/2010 15:51

Alice I hope you're resting

OP posts:
BitOfFunInTheQuattro · 23/05/2010 15:54

The surround has always been white, but I would have no hesitation painting it if it weren't- I love white wood.

BitOfFunInTheQuattro · 23/05/2010 15:57

Come on my trivial little thread about child labour if you get a chance?

DeFluffy · 23/05/2010 16:03

SAF - I've got a sick sense of humour but this just cracked me up (probably came to mind because of Vinny's hilarious shaving experience):

By swallowedAfly Sun 23-May-10 09:20:10
my dad offered to come do my back lawns for me yesterday and all my usual pride and no of course not bluster vanished - i was like yes please i'm so sorry but the front lawn had me in tears. dunno what's happened, i mowed it and then it seemed to burst forth out there like a jungle - also knee height in places. once he's done it i must keep on top of it and not let it get that long again.

Just reread it and almost in tears laughing, sorry

Vinny - a date????? How did it go??

Doublemylove - footballer? I know nothing of this, spill again please....

Mittz · 23/05/2010 16:04

I think I probably eat too much at buffets due to the 'nibble factor'.

My pond is lovely at the moment.. the weather will turn it to green slime but right now it is vibrant and clear.

Hello Lovely Norma.

bellavita · 23/05/2010 16:04

Norma, he hasn't been back long but I have mentioned it to him, he said he will have a look to see where they are coming in. The ones on top of the fridge are dead and there are no fresh ones crawling about (thank the lord).

Yay Fluffy, nice to see you

Mittz · 23/05/2010 16:13

Put your killer heels back on Bella..he'll do anything then

DeFluffy · 23/05/2010 16:13

Probably cross posting like mad but Vinny (sorry but) DP and I were just wetting ourselves laughing at your date, the 'clamping' is hilarious!!!!! Although obviously the situation not so, could have been a fucking nutter

No country for old men???? That's not a romcom!!! It got loads of praise from reviewers but I thought it was utter shite!! Really weird film that maybe I missed the point of...

DP very jealous of where you live Vin...

Back to continue reading

YanknCock · 23/05/2010 16:14

shiney, don't worry, I am still tickled over you sending it to yourself! says a lot about you that you are still trying to do things for others when you are having a rough time yourself (same goes for BOF)

Norma, how did it go with the buffet?

Total, thanks for the advice. I do plan to take citalopram through next pregnancy, so just SPD and hyperemesis to worry about then!

MrsWobble, we will keep you on the straight and narrow.

bella, hope your ants are sorted.

All three of us have nasty colds but decided to do something today which DH has wanted to do for a while, we went to a Quaker Meeting. Was nice, think we will go again. Then went over to Spinningfields area and ate at Gourmet Burger Kitchen. Basically I probably ate most of my points for the day then and there, but it's so hot now I can see just having a green salad for dinner later.

Weigh in day tomorrow. Then on to work where I hope to infect my boss and the big boss with my horrible cold...
