local builders are having to do nosiey night work for 2 nights. Everyone has been warned, mum spoke to them about it seeing as we have had so much trouble with ds re noise at the mo. They have booked us into a local travel lodge for the two nights

So although i have to deal with change of location ishoos, i should at least get some sleep so that i can help ds cope. although sayiing that he will probbly sleep on top of me and it will be a shit night. still...

Very impressed by the builders response to the ishoo.

Lizzylou · 18/05/2010 18:08

That is good of the builders, DEM. Hope you get some sleep.

Hello PerArduaAdNauseum, will we see you again soon?

Jet, definitely shop around for your glasses, there are loads of deals on, just take your prscription to the store where you find the ones you like and they'll sort them out. But yes, these glasses will be on your face for a long time, don't feel bad about spending money on getting the ones you love/feel best in.

Evening

Jet - get the glasses you would like, time to treat yourself!!

Lizzy, has your day got any better? You were really down this morning.

Alice - try and rest as much as you can, even if it means having the tv on for DD.

Mitts, were you taking DD back to the gp? How is she?

Shiney - how is your weightloss going?

Vinny, sorry to hear that you are being referred on, but at least something is being done about it sooner rather than later.

DEM - hope you get some sleep.

Norma, mmmm jaffa cakes!

Have had yogga brekka with blueberries, Mitts style chopped salad for lunch and a tuna salad for tea. Various pieces of fruit throughout the day. And I will confess.... I had two small pieces of some lovely mediteranean bread that had olives, feta cheese, herbs and chillies in - it was divine. I got it out of the freezer on Sunday to have in the evening and I totally forgot about it. It is a really dinky loaf and cost me £2 in M&S and I just didn't want to put it in the bin

Lizzylou · 18/05/2010 18:30

Hey Bella
Yes, I feel a bit better, especially now I know why my emotions/weight were all over the place
I do need to have a think about a back up plan re: work though, just in case.
Just full of cold and hormonal I guess, thanks for caring

bellavita · 18/05/2010 18:35

I feel the need to assert myslef against needy males. I may become the thread Ditanny and go on the Feminist threads.

Oh and never underestimate the man who can unblock your drains, you can do your will online nowadays

Pink stuff, Bella? Is that of the fizzy variety???

PerArduaAdNauseum · 18/05/2010 19:02

Hello everyone {smile]

Bonded over a dyson sounds rather like one of those late-night troll threads doesn't it?!

ahem.

Hello, my name is perardua and this week I have been mostly eating starchy junk (horrible cold)

bellavita · 18/05/2010 19:07

It is of the "fizzy" variety Lizzy

Yay for more weightloss Vinny!

jetcat · 18/05/2010 19:20

well done vinny - thats even more impressive

Lizzy - keep smiling

Hi perardua

DEM - thats really good of them to put you up! We have little bungalows being built just outside the back of me, and the amount of traffic trying to get parked outside my house is just I am relieved i dont have a car, as it would be awful. Taxis etc have given up coming into the street during the day, as chances are there will be a big lorry blocking the street.

Thanks for the advice re the glasses - am going for it Oh, and i have also messaged yank to say that i think we should postpone our shopping trip next week, as she has so much going on right now So, am back to the personal shopper idea

jetcat · 18/05/2010 19:20

Good evening.

I am looking forward to 5 weeks from now (what date is that?) when the PCSO tells us we can see whether or not the £90 DH found and handed in today is ours!

Crispy - if you're around, I saw a car driving round today without numberplates! I hope it wasn't yours. Will follow the next one I see sans number plates

Goober · 18/05/2010 19:48

Evening lovelies

Hope you have had a good day.

bellavita · 18/05/2010 20:01

Goooooooooobs - are you all packed?

PerArduaAdNauseum · 18/05/2010 20:23

Oh MrsWobble - you got a receipt then?!

jetcat · 18/05/2010 20:25

goobs - have i missed it? Where you off?

going to be a long 90 days then MrsWobble

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 18/05/2010 20:28

Only 4-6 weeks he said, jetcat! And we don't need a receipt - just the incident number which i've written down in several places!
