Well, LL was extraordinarily pleased about his arrival home earlier so perhaps she is going to lick him

Saf, have you watched any Dexter yet?

Not rushing you, just want to know what you think.

Next week sounds good, saf

I think I'd better bring a packed lunch though, the menu in that place is shocking (calorie wise).

In fact, I noticed the other day that it is the place with the "2 steak dinners and a walls vienetta for 10 quid"

Night saf,

I've got a mental image of us sat on a tartan rug with a big picnic hamper now

NormaSknockers · 21/05/2010 21:05

Bloody hell Shiney

wastingaway · 21/05/2010 21:26

Hurrah for Shiney!

hellsbelles · 21/05/2010 22:01

Have you checked the plant pots and bins for carefully stashed food shiney? - I don't know why but I can't help thinking of the lovely 70's show 'butterflies' when you talk of your kitchen exploits (though I expect everyone will be too young to know what I mean!!)

I'm nearly done with series 7 Bitter...only one more series to go and then I can get my teeth into Wentworth...I'm only a tiny bit worried that it may be too violent? Is it worse than 24?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 21/05/2010 22:05

There's a couple of hairy moments, but it's no worse than 24.

I would love to get my teeth into Wentworth

Do you even know what it's about? Do you want a synopsis?

I am ridiculously excited about you watching it, can you tell?

Iggisfulloftayto · 21/05/2010 22:09

Hells I now have that song in my head. Such a melancholy show. I think it had major influence on my view of relationships the way she always had that man in the wings(well that's what I'll blame for those flirtatious encounters in my past!)
Leonard was the orginal Mr.Big, wasn't he?

hellsbelles · 21/05/2010 22:19

Iggi he was Mr Big they even look a bit similar (ish). It was very sad actually wasn't it? I didn't really understand it at the time (I was only 2 years old after all ) but she was so unfufilled!!

Bitter...I know they are all in prison which worries me somewhat ...I don't mind shooting and stuff

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 21/05/2010 22:34

Okaaay, overview without spoilers.

Lincoln [older brother] is sent to death row for murder. Swears he didn't do it.

Michael [younger brother] get's obsessed [sp?] with the case, believes Linc is set up, despite the fact that he is a bit of a career criminal.

Michael worked for the company who drew up the blueprints for the prison Linc is being held at, so studies these plans until he knows all the ins/outs and weaknesses of the architecture of the prison, then...

He tattoos his entire body with a kind of coded map then commits an armed robbery so that he can be sent to the same prison to break his brother out!!

It's quite violent in the first couple of episodes IIRC. I think it calms down after that. It's usually pretty obvious when it's about to kick off though.

Oh, except when about 3/4 episodes in he is cornered in the potting hed / gardening building thing - as soon as you see gardening tools - LEAVE THE ROOM.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 21/05/2010 22:41

Oh and Teabag is vile in the first series, but you will grow to kind of love to hate him just for the sheer brilliance of the character.

Am I getting annoying yet?

hellsbelles · 21/05/2010 22:45

la la la la la. I don't want to know any more - I want to be a prison break innocent...so it's all new to me! But I am looking forward to it!

FiveGoMadInDorset · 21/05/2010 22:45

Las one?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 21/05/2010 22:47

Hells - There is so much I am not telling you, believe me you are an innocent!
