Sorry for crap title, my first time

Roundup of today:

shiney, hope you and J have a wonderful weekend together.

Queen, yuck. I hated nearly every minute of my pregnancy. Seriously, if you search my name from about Jan-Aug 2009, it will all be me moaning about how much it sucks. Sympathy for you from another hyperemesis sufferer.

DIB, my stomach leapt a bit reading about your DS, how scary! Glad he seems to be ok.

Alice, your DS is very curled up in there and you've got a ways to go (sorry!) so wouldn't worry about bump size at all.

VT, I think you should prepare for the camping by ceasing all ironing now

BOF, what the hospital appt for? You ok? Hope you feel better!

ABF, hello and welcome! I also think of Carry On films when I see ding dong, DH has forced me to watch them as part of my education on what it means to be British

DI, I am jealous. Tell me next time it is 'dress like a pirate day'.

SAF, my mom believed in benign neglect and got two very self-reliant and capable children. I don't go for doorstop selling of anything, I have a very comprehensive sign that seems to be keeping people away and stuff out of the letterbox.

bitter, I'm sorry, but at your DS being a bottom-flasher!

GetOrf, so giving up diet coke makes you lose weight? Might have to try that one!

bella, glad the cake situation was sorted. I am jealous, I want ducks to come to my house. We just have the neighbourhood cat who leaves us dead stuff [boak]

Goober, yay for another pound off!

korma, flylady is the way forward.

Sazz, that doesn't sound too bad, 4lbs can come off in two weeks. Good job on all the exercise.

Jet, hello! You just reminded me to check my BMI, and I have JUST graduated from 'Morbidly Obese' to merely 'Obese'! Hooray!

Mitts, at least she is your XMIL

hells, good luck with the nits

ScreaminEagle, I'm another who joined late (though it's been nearly 6 months now!).

Norma, hope your DS's finger is ok!

Defluff, at 'yo homies' I feel 12 again.

Went to pick up DS at nursery today and was alerted to the possibility he may be developing chicken pox!! ARrggggghhhhhhhhhhhh I really really hope not, I've only been back at work a week!

My luck is seriously shit. On the positive side the nursery worker thought if he had it the spots would be showing up faster instead of the very gradual increase over the day. So either he doesn't have it and has some weird other rash thing, or he has a mild case, or it will be turning up with a vengence tomorrow.

Either way, it is wine o'clock, DH is going to Spar now to fetch some in.

....Or a pigeon, so I could shit on some people.

My BMI is now down to 22.7, it was 26.5. What is "Normal"?

YanknCock · 01/05/2010 22:35

bella, you are tiny! Not only am I going to hug you, I am going to pick you up and swing you around!

YanknCock · 01/05/2010 22:36

Normal BMI is between 20-25. Welcome to normal Goober, and good work.

Am from the MIdlands, so we just say alleyways/backdoor........

FiveGoMadInDorset · 01/05/2010 22:36

Goober I think anywhere between 20 and 25.

don't apologise. I do follow Southamptons results.

bellavita · 01/05/2010 22:37

You have forced my hand Yank. Hold steady now....

Happy?

YanknCock · 01/05/2010 22:40

Bella, potentially both!

Screamin, probably not PCOS then, unless you would have irregular periods when not on the pill. That's the biggest indicator I think.

Alan Hansen should be James Bond, he is luscious, I just cannot believe people can't see that!!!!

DH has just had a right go at me for being on here........

Ah well, needs must!

Goober, you are skinny!

YanknCock · 01/05/2010 22:42

ah cheers Goober, I really deserved that. That is absolutely the LAST time I let DH talk me into a dessert. This time he said 'we've just joined the gym so it's ok'. He's a smooth one, MrCock.

We did actually join the gym....went over and signed the papers then went out for dinner. Figured the carvery wasn't as bad as pizza.

Screamin, does Clearasil work well then? Does it make your skin dry? I only get spots on my chin but I always have them there so would like something to use just on my chin. Does it make your skin overly dry? I've sometimes found that treating the spots makes the skin dry and flaky so I can't put any cover up on!

My sis is a 12 and she can't find things to fit. She has a teeny tiny little waist but wide hips. I am very narrow on top with C cup boobs and apparently that's not allowed either. If you're small across the shoulders, you must be flat-chested to fit in clothes.

Who are the women clothes are made for?!

bellavita · 01/05/2010 22:44

at Yank. I won't mind!

Talking about northern accents, when I spoke to BoF yesterday, I put on my telephone voice... but I have a strong accent too.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 01/05/2010 22:44

DH is snoring on the sofa. I keep waking him up when I wake at 5 in the morning. Tomrrow I shall get up and let him sleep.

Goober · 01/05/2010 22:44

No I am not skinny. I was once, but not now. I am still in 14s but am at least 5ft 11 so not pocket sized like Bella.

Goober · 01/05/2010 22:46

Will now drag DH off to bed and do unspeakable deeds.

N'night all.

xx

bellavita · 01/05/2010 22:47

Hello Fleecy

Yank, when will your first visit be?

At the school where I work there is free gym membership at certain times of the day for us although it does not really fit in with my hours. I would however be able to do half an hour on a Tuesday evening so I thought I might do some running on the treadmill.

bellavita · 01/05/2010 22:48

Night Goobs x

Fleecy · 01/05/2010 22:49
