This is our mumblemumbleth thread. We want to eat more healthily and/or lose weight.

In theory.

Mostly we like to chat and admire teh thread mascot - he helps us not to over-eat.

If that doesn't do it for you, you can always go old-school - I know I'm too scared to go into the dark spooky kitchen now

he said 'how are you stranger'

i am gobsmacked, he must have a short memory we went to Mexico together and for weeks before the holiday he kept saying the only reason he was still with me was because we had booked the holiday he was a nasty man

we were out drinking one night and had a row, so i left and went home, the next day i went to get my bag from his house and he had thrown all my stuff in his front garden

Morning Fanny!

Blimey Vinny! What a dickhead.

TotalChaos · 24/04/2010 09:17

vinny - yep, bet you are just dying to leap back into bed with that one

saf - sorry you are going through a tough time with men and family at the mo. Hope that your time in Egypt is a good break, and you don't get further upset by the brazilian guy.I agree about the motherhood/judgmental aspect - as soon as you push a pram people stop seeing you don't they?

slug - enjoy your childfree Sat and have a nice time at the rink

VinegarTits · 24/04/2010 09:21

Yes your so right SAF, and i always go for the wrong type, good looking with an inflated ego, which is what this guy was like, in his younger days he looked a bit like a young brad pitt (if you caught him in the right light) but he thinks he still does he looks more like brad pitts granddad these days

ive had some lovely bf too, still friend with 2 of my exes who are nice guys, one is my brother best mate and is married with a baby now, i went to his wedding and his sons christening

VinegarTits · 24/04/2010 09:27

i met this guy on a dating site, and when we went to Mexico we had a pic taken of the 2 of us holding a shark in the sea, when we split up he put the pic on his dating profile so i told him to take it off as i didnt want a pic of me on his profile, anyway he didnt take it off, so i used a picture editing software to remove myself from the pic and send it to him asking him to replace that with the pic of me and him

This is a different dating site and he still has the same pic on his profile, of just him and the shark what a looser

MitsubishiWarrioress · 24/04/2010 09:29

Hi...

Vinny, what a muppet..

SaF.. I don't know about guys, maybe he is just in a mess, he may feel odd about the situation and not know how to express himself.

Morning off sounds like a luxury Five.

I am hoping to mostly paint today but the house is a mess because I was sorting some stuff last night when my bro rang. By the time he wound down I just went to bed.

This weather is just what the doctor ordered xx

VinegarTits · 24/04/2010 09:30

Yes SaF, He was definitely a little drunk feeling the love

However his ego and drive have put him in good place in life and I think he is planning my phoenix moment so he ain't all bad.

Enjoy the rink DEM.

Please come and help me decide what to buy my Nan for her birthday

TrillianAstra · 24/04/2010 12:10

Vinny he still has the picture that you edited? That's quite funny, think you should wind him up a bit - maybe tell him that you're not interested ut your mate Jane might be - have him meet her at the penguin sanctuary.

Promise I'm not judging you as "mothers" (if I judge you it'll just be as people ) and I'm definitely not jealous. Although I like the idea that SAF just doesn't need so much sleep any more

Trill that would be funny, but i really cant be arsed to even reply, have deleted his message now

hellsbelles · 24/04/2010 12:55

Vinny - I'm what a knob

SAF - I agree with mitts & Total (I always say that )....sorry about the rubbish stuff you are going through

Claudia - I'm sure having a hunky instruction helps a lot in the motivational department! Vinny - where did you see that he was 50??? He looks much younger.

Hope everyone get's a chance to enjoy the sunshine.

Slugbrains · 24/04/2010 13:00

morning! errr best make that afternoon.

Sleep was lovely. but i have terrible back ache this morning no idea what i have done to get that.

Looking forward to going out but going to be productive this morning afternoon.

right here goes:
todays plan: get up. folding, ironing, form filling, MN, get changed, skating, MN, sleep. although i might sneak in more or just get involved and do less mning. RL is looking good today and i feel the need to engage with it. I almost feel slightly drunk. You know that kinda warm fuzzy dont care about anything want to take on the world feeling.

your not boring. just reassuringly normal and that there is such a thing as normal. Its helping me tbh. keeps me focused on the current and future. and helps to stop me dwelling on the past and the what if. very of your ability to go do something amazing. i am too much of a scardey cat tbh to do that.
