Hello

I am bella and have about 7lb to lose now using ww.

OP posts:
hellsbelles · 03/04/2010 12:18

oh he was scared of her at that age! Your local cinema sounds truly lovely. I"m so looking forward to doing girlie things with DD when she is a bit bigger. But she'll probably be a tomboy.

TrillianAstra · 03/04/2010 12:18

Apparently I am a party pooper. I don't care. The margaritas were good though.

YanknCock · 03/04/2010 12:18

DIB, good news on the 2 lbs! You are a star.

hellsbelles · 03/04/2010 12:19

what did you do Trills to merit that name calling?

hellsbelles · 03/04/2010 12:20

DD is doing proper walking! She's progressed from doing the odd step here and there to proper (wobbly) walking. She did take her time though - she's 14 months!

oh please 2am is late enough....

YanknCock · 03/04/2010 12:28

hells, that is wonderful news!

We are awaiting crawling here. DS gets on his tummy and wiggles and flails a lot.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 03/04/2010 12:37

Afternoon ladies.

Just a quickie, then I'm going to do some lunch and then clean this shit tip top to bottom.

Shiney -
DIB - Well done! I am going to weigh myself tomorrow, will report back.
Yank - Hope your flight isn't too stressful, I'm sure they won't be measuring babies!
Hells - Good Luck! DD started walking about 3 weeks ago (she's nearly 15m) and is into everything now
Trills - 2am is hardcore

Everyone else, have a good weekend, I'll probably be back later.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 03/04/2010 12:37

Hells great news on the walking, DD is also a massive tomboy, refuses to weare dresses, skirts or anything vaguely pink, but however has now started liking the Princess magazines. She still talks about wanting a willy for christmas although told a friend on Thursday that hers hadn't started growing yet.

bellavita · 03/04/2010 12:56

Hmmm Trills, I have just buttered the tins and lined the bases....

I don't think you are a party pooper, blimey 2.00am - I would be dead on my feet.

Yank, finger and toes crossed it will be fine.

Hells - must make life a lot easier for you now that she is walking.

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 03/04/2010 13:12

I expect it'll be fine Bella - if it breaks at all you can always stick it back together with tonnes of gooey icing

hellsbelles · 03/04/2010 13:16

oops - sorry Trills just saw I had an x-post with you earlier and have now discovered why you were UNJUSTIFIABLY called a party pooper!

The walking thing is fun. I have to get her some shoes now as I'm sure she'll soon be desperate to try out her new skill in public. She's still a bit unsteady though (and sometimes defaults back to crawl) so not quite a 'proficient walker'!

I'm just remembering the stage with DS where he just learnt to walk and took about 4 hours to get anywhere as we had to stop and look at everything. Which is utterly charming at first but then horribly annoying when you have to get them to school/nursery - actually anywhere in fact!

Now where is shiney?????

Lizzylou · 03/04/2010 13:19

Well done on Hell's DD walking. You will be very sprightly and slender in no time, chasing after your toddler
That didn't actually work for me though...

Trills 2am after all that booze is definitely not party pooping.

Fanny, DS1 and Ds2 (6 and 4) saw The Princess and the Frog and loved it, your cinema sounds amazing.

Yank, am sure the skycot will be fine.

Yay for DIB (must be the Brummie air , will hope that Stratford works for me)

Would you believe, everyone has been very lovely since I got my Easter retort all prepared???

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 03/04/2010 13:19

Hello i am posting from the top of the hill again, sitting in my car over looking over the sea, (listening to Christy Moore Mitts )

far to much for me to catch up on, but hope you are all well, i just wanted to come and say hello, going to read the thread offline and see what i have missed

Missing you all (but not too much )

wastingaway · 03/04/2010 13:35

Back from town, though will be out again in a bit. I do like walking, it's getting ready to go that I don't like.

Lizzy, I fear the two gins may be the reason for my feeling off-colour this morning. Plus hayfever, and , I think, an infected eye.

Trills, well done on 2am. Margaritas sound nice.
The chocolate fudge cake sounds good. I don't have any Nigella books, how does everyone rate them?

Good news from Jaq.

Fanny, the cinema sounds wonderful!
I must say, that your life does sound idyllic. Can we take it in turns to life swap for a month with you?

Yay for little Hells walking! I think DS started around that age.

Probably x-posted as I had to nip outside to blow bubbles for a bit in the middle of typing.

TrillianAstra · 03/04/2010 14:32

Maybe you have a look on your face that says 'I mean business' Lizzy!

Hi all.
Shiney, you star! Nuff said
Another class tomorrow morning for me. I might just need it.
This morning DH had an optician appointment so we dragged 2 kids around town with us. Is so busy everywhere.

jetcat · 03/04/2010 16:35

hells - mini is still at the stage, when we go to nursery it takes 20mins for us to walk there, and 5 mins to walk back She even insists on reading all the letters on every street sign This is not so good in the rain, but....... i have been given a car Tis only an old escort, but it goes, MOT'd till end of year and will do till i save for a new one. Am so chuffed - tis girl's grandparent's sister (so kind of my auntie) and she is lovely. Am so relieved we can actually drive to nursery if it is raining, and will be able to do proper shopping etc

Great news about Jaq - hope it goes ok

Hope the cake is ok Bella

Lizzy - i saw you had weight loss, well done (and congrats to other losers)

YanknCock · 03/04/2010 16:37

DH and I have had a barney about nothing and made up already. I am so stressed about travelling and then coming back and being back at work. Must chill.

I took off mid-argument to cool down and went to take stuff to the tip. Am proud to say I gave the last Mars bar from MIL to one of the workers there. He was a bit bemused.

TrillianAstra · 03/04/2010 16:39

Well done getting rid of the mars bar Yank, and hi to Jet!

DP has bought a battery to put in our scales. I'll wait til tomorrow to try them out.
