Hello

I am bella and have about 7lb to lose now using ww.

OP posts:
hellsbelles · 04/04/2010 09:16

Happy easter everyone! Claudia - it's so funny that you've almost finished yours!

BOF - why are worried you've been a twat? How could that even be possible!

MItts - I'm sure I will...knowledge is power and all that! i didn't even think of kickboxing as an option (I do find pilates helps me massively if I stick to it)....but kickboxing sounds fab becuase it's also cardio as well isn't it? I am kind of relieved that I have another reason to do exercise other than weight loss. I'm hoping it will make me stick to it more.

That place is beautiful...enjoy!

Lizzy was right - DD did just one wake (at 5.40) and then slept through till 6.45 - which is a blissful lie-in in the Belles household. And what huge difference it makes to have a bit of sleep.

Just waiting for a break in the rain to go hide mini eggs for DS & DH's easter egg hunt!

Hope you are all getting peace, quiet and lots of chocolate (calorie free versions of course!)

NormaSknockers · 04/04/2010 09:20

Good morning all, Happy Easter

Everyone on chocolate overload?

I seem to have accidently polished off a box of Maltesers, when it comes to chocolate I have absolutely no will power

hellsbelles · 04/04/2010 09:33

Trills - that does sound good (and very virtuous on the egg front!).

Bella - I should have listened to your wiseness on the egg front - and let DS have some yesterday. He now has lots today and wants to eat them all! And i"m having to be strict and he's not liking it.

Norma - I'm bad with chocolate too...but DH is the worst. He can literally sniff it out from whereever I hide it. And if he stays up to watch a film I know I'll find the evidence the next morning (wrappers strewn!)

bellavita · 04/04/2010 09:52

But Hells, mine are a lot older than yours... and it has taken me to the last 3 years or so to realise that a little bit every day from say the middle of the week leading up to Good Friday keeps everyone happy.

OP posts:
DidEinsteinsMum · 04/04/2010 10:00

Re chocolate - ds has saved half of the egg he was told he could eat as much as he liked of [impressed]

However the day has started such that i am and he is in his bedroom! Not impressed!

Right have to drag him go out. We are doing something today on my last not working day and not having a pj day!

Enjoy Mitts!

TrillianAstra · 04/04/2010 10:17

Morning all.

bellavita · 04/04/2010 10:22

Hello Trills

Have you got anything planned for today?

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 04/04/2010 10:31

Hi Bella

Plans... er... watch Dr Who on iplayer, repot chilli plants, that's it so far.

bellavita · 04/04/2010 10:43

Umm not sure about Dr Who, although we are a Dr Who household (the boys and DH are). Are you potting them on? DH has planted his seeds (so to speak...) but they haven't come up yet. He has done potatoes, courgettes, peppers and tomatoes so far too.

I must make an effort to go and get dressed.

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 04/04/2010 10:47

We planted the seeds way too early because we were impatient, so they've now got their 2nd (and in some cases 3rd) set of leaves. No garden here so we can only do windowsill plants.

jetcat · 04/04/2010 10:50

awww wasting, hope your eye gets better soon - there's nowt worse than an eye infection

Yank - i constantly have that panic feeling at having lost something, comes with having a house with not much storage So glad you found it, bet your heart was in your mouth!

Bitter - so sorry about the funeral - it must be so hard trying to decide what to do for the best. Take care of yourself and your lovely family, i bet that is what your MIL would want, and try not to worry about there not being too many people at the funeral - even if there was only one person there who loved her, that's enough IMO

and Happy Easter everyone. No kids here, so can refrain from the chocolate - i had a small egg last night, not much bigger than a creme egg, but had to treat myself Am supposed to be essay writing about The Doll's House, but just can't get into it. Only two more essays to go for this course and then the exam, cant wait for it to be over with!

Jeans too loose? Well done!

Pizza express do those pizzas with a salad in the middle, don't they?

"Leggera is our lighter pizza. We've removed the centre of the dough and put a fresh salad back in its place. These are each designed to be about 500 calories** and are low in saturated fat"

Good luck with the essays Jet.

I like the tuna niciose salad that Pizza Express do and you can ask for "light" dressing too - which come son the side. I also second the pizza with the salad in the middle - very nice.

Well done Shiney on your fantastic weightloss. Never mind about the jeans - better them be losose than too tight.

Posh chocolates eh! Someone must like you....

Oh yes jet, keep up the good work.

bellavita · 04/04/2010 11:37

Well you can share a bed with me if you want to... but at the rate I am going, I will be the one doing the squishing

MitsubishiWarrioress · 04/04/2010 12:03

Oh bloody well done shiney!! 22 lbs is fab. I know what you mean about jeans. I have some gorgeous diesel ones and even with the bit of weight I have put back on my bum doesn't keep them up.
I have thought about having them ve done other jeans but these were professionally altered, I have done some others but these are way too expensive too nice to make a hash of.

AMAZING ride. Absolutely gorgeous up there and I had forgotten the complete rush of getting to the top of a gruelling hill and then speeding cruising down the other side. .. Very very happy Mitts. And in tune with my budgeting I too my own coffee and a choccy bar so I am pleased with myself all round.

Pizza sounds sooooo good though..

Back when I have regained my composure..

MitsubishiWarrioress · 04/04/2010 12:06

god I talk gobbledy gook sometimes!

SlinkyGoober · 04/04/2010 12:10

Happy easter shiney happy people.

Have so far scoffed a cream egg. Bad I know, but have been to torture cardio class already so only half bad.

Will be having a lovely leg o lamb later with roasties and everythang. There is also a rhumour of a sticky toffee pudding for afters but I know nothing about that.

DH is washing his car and maybe mine later as it looks like I have been rallying in it.

bellavita · 04/04/2010 12:11

Mitts - we would have you no other way

Now, we need your input/vote on eating in June.....

Hey Goobs

We are having roast beef. Am in two minds whether to make a tart au pomme for afters. We have still loads of apples to use up from last year.

It has just started to throw it down here... DH had only just got into the garden to do his jobs.

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 04/04/2010 12:14

I really want to go to Pizza Express now...

Just had boiled eggs and soldiers. We've got the timing down now so as long as we buy supermarket free range eggs and not the super-posh random-sized ones we always get a runny yolk.

I've just remembered that a friend gave me one of those gold bunnies, so I am definitely not lacking in chocolate (and not technically lying about having no easter eggs)

Bella you are tiny you couldn't squish a fly!

Well done on your ride Mitts and also on taking your own coffee. I like the idea of having someone alter clothes to fit just perfectly, but most of my clothes are cheapy stuff anyway so it doesn't seem worth it.

jetcat · 04/04/2010 12:15

22LBS shiney - well done you You will just have to get some new jeans, as i am sure you dont love the old ones enough so that you would put the weight back on to make them fit

well done on the bike ride Mitts Am so jealous, i would love to take the girls out for a ride, but junior is - errrm - less than steady and needs a trike (or stabilisers) and that is "so not cool" for a 13 yr old
