Welcom, welcome to the mumblemumble well, some large number thread for the healthy eating crew.

Shiney is our leader, but all creeds are welcome here, from the -50lbs club (whoop whoop!) to those who would like to lose 50lbs, to those who would fade awya if they lost 50lbs and just want to eat more healthily and/or chat about cock.

Shiney (if you are still up)- hope the phone call went OK. (No smart arsed one liners).

YanknCock · 01/03/2010 00:04

Ahem.....massive 2 day update!

Lizzy, how's the sciatica? If spinning reduces back fat I might have to start. I have a massive 'butt shelf' (as DH affectionately calls it)

Shiney, so glad your gran seems better! 14lbs off by April 1 is probably unrealistic. By May 1 though, totally doable. Re: Taya, if she hates going, the baby coming might be a great excuse for her not to stay over anymore, just in terms of being overcrowded and lots of night waking. You can play it like you are doing them a favour, would her dad buy that? At 12 I also think she is old enough to know you views on teen pregnancy. Are you on the phone now!!???

Trills, Baby smellFor the first 3 weeks of his life, DS smelled like a very light men's cologne that I couldn't get enough ofI just sat and smelled his head for hours! And Dollhouse, do ya think they originally planned for it to be Boyd, or was that because it got cancelled?

DI, glad the party went well.

MyCat, poor little MyCat! Hope he feels better now? The presentation for my interview is on developing a clinical audit, not something I know heaps about. Will start working on it tomorrow, have a couple of nurse friends that will help me/tell me if I'm going horribly wrong.

wasting, sympathy to you. Do you go to any toddler groups or anything like that? I missed my groups for a week and even though they are baby focused I really did miss the adult company they provide. Otherwise am stuck in the house.

BOF, chocolate fudge cake mmmmmm. Have you been to Bent's Garden Centre near Glazebury? They do a chocolate fudge cake that is so chocolatey, I actually couldn't finish it. I am 33 and that is a FIRST! Grrr at your DSS, hope you give him a good telling off.

Reality, have donated a little bit, sorry it couldn't be more.

iggi, cactus pills???

bella, I think you've shown remarkable restraint in not sending your DH for the Kitchen Aid!

Mitts, I used to sing in choirs too, would love to join something again. Last time I sang, DH, me and about 12 of our colleagues put together a little choir for the office Christmas party over 2 years ago. We were surprisingly good! sounds like a lovely concert you went to. What's going on with your DS and his dad then?

Alice, we had chicken fajitas last night too, yummy. I love homemade guacamole--the tinned stuff that pretends to be guacamole offends me greatly.

tracey, good work maintaining.

VT, I love that Potters Wheel colour! I craved salt like mad when I was pregnant....and pretty much the rest of the time too.

Fanny, sorry to hear it, fingers crossed for next month.

YanknCock · 01/03/2010 00:12

Today's eating:

Brunch: Spinach, mushroom 1/2 fat cheese omlette; oven chips; cantaloupe

Dinner: Chicken breast wrapped in parma ham cooked in BBQ sauce with mozzarella, chips, salad

A bit heavy on the chip front I think but at least resisted dessert and got in SOME fruit and veg today.

DS had some omlette, chips and cantaloupe with us. Watching him learn to eat is the best entertainment ever. Apart from watching bid tv with DH and taking the mick out of all the products--we were nearly pissing ourselves earlier over this guy trying to sell prints of a meerkat 'his eyes are the windows to his soul....'

iggi999 · 01/03/2010 07:11

Morning all.
Online early as realised I hadn't transferred money into the account my mortgage comes out of, and it being the first and all had to get a move on. Well, despite it only being 7 o'clock, the mortgage had already left my account! Great start to the day, some lovely bank charges!
Hope good days are had by all.

NormaSknockers · 01/03/2010 07:14

Morning all,

Bella that's what I usually do re the cakes Troubke is I then eat the domes Will try filling the cases less & see if that helps, ta

Sorry Fanny, hope it happens soon for you.

I did a sneaky weigh in this morning (weigh day is Weds) & nothing, it didn't even budge usually by this stage in the week it's showig at least a 1lb loss, not impressed!

NormaSknockers · 01/03/2010 07:15

Iggi which bank are you with?

hellsbelles · 01/03/2010 07:46

morning all - what a treat that yank has done one of her brilliant roundups! Sorry to miss everything last night but looking forward to SHiney's update.

Iggi - I did the same thing with my tax payment in Jan. Really really pissed me off and has taken ages to sort out - I really hope they don't go too crazy with the charges.

Norma - well done - that's great you've started moving in the right direction again.

So...I've got work today and I know pretty much that DD is going to start walking....and I'm gutted if it happens when I'm not here. I will ask my childminder not to do anything that encourages walking today - is that very wicked??

YanknCock · 01/03/2010 08:16

hells, I'd be exactly the same. Most likely will be at work when DS starts walking too.

Speaking of work, it's been two weeks since I told them I wanted to go back early, and nothing from them apart from acknowledgement letter saying they were having a meeting about it on 19th Feb. So????? Trying not to be paranoid.

Weighed in this morning (17st 0.4)and have lost 0.6 of a pound over the last two weeks. Not great, but ok considering I've barely counted points at all.

Now time to pull my finger out and make it below 17st next week. Will you yell at me to post my point intake here so I will DO it? I have reduced my point intake from 36 to 31 since DS is now starting solids, but just to be safe I plan to not save points at all for a while as he's not eating enough to reduce his milk feeds just yet.

Missed you all this weekend! Can ya tell?

bellavita · 01/03/2010 08:30

Morning.

Yogga brekka again this morning. Home roasted beef sandwich in ww bread for lunch.

Yank, he again brought the Kitchenaid up yesterday. He said he knows I would get a lot of use out of it. I actually want him to buy himself something (he would like an i-pod dock in his car) and I have told him to get it fitted when the car needs a service - he said he doesn't need one of those as it is a luxury rather than a necessity. We'll see anyway.

Oh Iggi - bank charges - how about ringing them and see if they will waive the fees?

Where is the Shiney one? I need to know word for word last nights convo with new man. I cannot even begin to repeat the one liners she came out with to me before said phonecall..... goes off to check phone for txts.

bellavita · 01/03/2010 08:34

Oooh, I do have a txt sent this morning from Shiney.

She spoke to him for ages (still thinks he is married) but had a good laugh on the phone with him.

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 01/03/2010 08:36

I just can't keep up!!!

Ho hum! Morning all

Another good day so far today. Meditated; did recorder with DD1; played a maths game with DD2; harvested and replanted my cranberries ; now we're eating breakfast.

Next I hope they're going to get dressed; I'm going to tidy up ; then I'm going to do my second attempt at a meal in my brand new shiny slow cooker; then we're going to children's yoga; and then to spend the afternoon at a friend's house.

I ought to ring the fraud team too, to chivvy them along check how things are moving.

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 01/03/2010 08:39

Fanny - sorry to hear about the non-pregnancy Hope it happens for you soon!

NormaSknockers · 01/03/2010 08:41

hells, erm......eh? I haven't lost a bean that's not a good thing, I've been steadily loosing at least 2lbs a week & now nothing, seriously unimpressed!

Bella it's sweet he wants to buy you one. Ooooo re Shiney glad she had a laugh

bellavita · 01/03/2010 08:43

Norma - I have resorted to moving the scales around the room to see if it makes a jot of bloody difference....

Sounds like a lovely day MrsW

I really really must get my arse in gear. Need to do some ironing before I go to work.

NormaSknockers · 01/03/2010 08:51

Bella glad I'm not the only one who does that, I've even tried different rooms It is now wavering between staying the same & a loss of 1lb so hopefully by Weds it will be at least a loss even if only a small one. I really should stop weighing before my weigh day!

DreamsInBinary · 01/03/2010 08:55

Dydd Gwyl Dewi hapus!

DC looked very sweet in rugby jerseys this morning. It's sunny and I am in a fabbo mood

Let's see what work can do to amend that...

Have a nice day Sazz, hooray for a bit of sunhine eh?!

TrillianAstra · 01/03/2010 09:28

Good luck next month Fanny.

It's sunny this morning, I woke up and considered going for a run but actually just went back to sleep for another hour.

Weighed this morning and no change - which is what I want, even though I ate all day yesterday to help the hangover.

How was the call with the man Shiney?

VinegarTits · 01/03/2010 09:36

Morning all

ds2 finally finished his room and had me hanging a picture and mirror at 11pm he is very proud of himself though, have taken a pic and put it on my prof, it doesnt look that impressive, but believe me, compared to how it was before it is a BIG improvement

We have lovely sunny weather here today

VinegarTits · 01/03/2010 09:37

oh feck, i mean ds1, ds2 is a bit little to be decorating his own room

TrillianAstra · 01/03/2010 09:40

Nice colour scheme - Ds1 (or his girlfriend) clearly has good taste

I wish I was allowed to paint (rented house -everything is cream).

VinegarTits · 01/03/2010 09:56
