Some of it is healthy eating chat. WW, LL, food focus, south beach. Whatever ever the route, whatever the goal its all here.

Most of the time its just moral support and general chat... So dive in, post as much as you are able and have some fun...

is there a pizza express discount voucher floating about then?

TrillianAstra · 18/02/2010 14:08

I've just forwarded it ot you rhotmail Vinny (no idea if you actually check that email but it was listed on FB).

Do you have/want a voucher Saz?

Fleecy · 18/02/2010 14:13

Hello everyone, can I join?

I already know hells and tracey from the S&B boards.

I am far from huge but need to lose about half a stone from around my middle. Have been looking at the No "S" thing and think I'm going to try that.

I have been doing 2/3 dance and circuit training classes each week for about three months now so you'd think I should be building nice tummy muscles under the fat

How are you feeling Bella, if you are around?

Vinny.. What a twat of the highest order.

Fleecy · 18/02/2010 14:25

Thanks for the welcome. I do indeed feel lucky (and now have Clint Eastwood in my head!) to join what I'm sure is a wonderful thread!

Have skimmed old posts and am indeed at VT's FIL. And that he wasn't remotely embarassed when returning the extra money!

Lizzylou · 18/02/2010 14:27

Hi Fleecy, welcome.

Yes, Bella, hope that you are OK.

Bloody snowing here again......

Of course

What else d'ya think I've been doing these last few weeks? Sitting here reading through old threads and eating endless meals of convenience food so I didn't waste time cooking

MitsubishiWarrioress · 18/02/2010 14:47

Ok Fleecy..time for your quick quiz and general shiney knowledge questions...

Fleecy · 18/02/2010 14:56

Bring it on!

(Please don't really...)

traceybath · 18/02/2010 14:56

Hi Fleecy - I lost that last pesky half a stone after joining this thread.

God - I just can't be bothered to do much today. Am half-heartedly batch cooking, doing laundry but mostly sitting in front of the fire.

DS1 has just got some go-gos - lordy the excitement over a tin of small weird objects. Apparently he's the last boy in his class to have them - I'm so mean.

Sazzles you're so good with your exercise - what do I need to do to tone up my tummy? Am always drawn to pilates as you don't sweat which sounds like my type of exercise. Although am going to try and start running again soon but really prefer to do it when weather is nice.

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 18/02/2010 14:58

Hi Fleecy

When are you coming down?

Girls are watching the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe - the one that was on tv when we were small. DD3 keep saying it's scary and DD2 keeps going to watch bits from the kitchen . They've seen it before, lots of times!

bellavita · 18/02/2010 15:16

Hello and hello to then newbies.

I feel a lot better than I did thanks. Took my boys to the pub for lunch. I just had an open prawn sandwich which was lovely and a slimline tonic, DS1 had Moules Marinere with hot crusty bread and a side order of homemade chips and DS2 had Lancashire Hotpot. I feel pooped out now though. Have got a thousand and one things to do too.

Trills, those pizzas are really nice. When we went on Sunday, I had the tuna nicoise with light dressing on the side which was just delish.

I am glad your dad is trying to sort your car out for you Vinny.

Right, off to do the next 3 jobs on my list.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 18/02/2010 15:19

I was thinking about that MrsWobble... would sat 13th or 20th March be suitable?

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 18/02/2010 15:37

Not 20th - I'll be teaching then. 13th is free though, and my parents will be here so you and I can go for a coffee sans children

Fleecy · 18/02/2010 15:38

Those of you doing the no S thing, do you find your meals are more healthy than they would otherwise be because you're more conscious of what you're eating?

tracey what method did you use for that last little bit?

I don't blame you for not running at the moment. Horrid, nasty weather. It's all I can do to get from the front door to the car to drive to the gym!

MitsubishiWarrioress · 18/02/2010 15:39

can you FB me with regards which station it would be best to travel to so I can book tickets?

wastingaway · 18/02/2010 15:49

Afternoon all!

Welcome Fleecy.

Vin, I am truly gobsmacked.

I loved those when it was first on MrsWobble.

Glad you're feeling better Bella.

Transco man came, and he found and repaired a leak. Thank goodness that's finally sorted.
Doesn't give me great confidence in the Gas Safe man who did the landlord gas safety check though.

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 18/02/2010 15:55

Mitts - done

bellavita · 18/02/2010 16:01

we get this sent to us every week You just need to sign in for the e-mail.

BitOfFun · 18/02/2010 16:13

I haven't caught up yet, but will later when I sit down. I've been laid up with a bit of poorliness, but am trying to blitz dd1's bedroom before she gets home at the weekend from her ski trip. It is vile in there. I am onto my second binbag full of rubbish. Not old toys or anything- actual rubbish . It will take me all day tomorrow to actually clear out old toys, books and clothes. I am nuturing a vague hope that if i give her a clean slate, she will be able to keep it in a state that does not put you in mind of toxic waste.

Eating-wise today has been NOT healthy- just half a piece of toast and about six custard creams with a coffee, but I haven't had time for anything else.

Hopefully I can look in tonight and have a proper chat- sorry to be awol.

VinegarTits · 18/02/2010 17:02

sounds a bit like ds1 room BOF, there are things lving under the bed i swear, creatures that are feeding of his rubbish

Thanks for the voucher Trill, i got my email

DreamsInBinary · 18/02/2010 17:05

Sorry to hear about your illing, BoF. Hope you can see the floor of dd's room by now. My trick in my teens was growing inch-thick mould on top of my teacups.

Welcome Fleecy
