I could feel my legs being deprived of oxygen, the doctor told me if I didnt stop I would end up like a woman who had walked out the room before me with green gangrene legs....be proud to be free.

Agree with MLL, Pecca-when I have tried to give up in the past I have quite often got to the 3/4 week mark and thought-I can cope with just one-it won't make me start again-O,yes,it does-DO NOT GET COMPLACENT-you will have almost got there after 2/3 months,ok??

I dont have to make a concious effort not to smoke anymore, i dont think about it anymore, I can small a fag and not want to snatch it out of its victims hands...but theres still a degree of effort each and every day that goes into staying a nonsmoker.

Its very sad that something so small and stupid can consume ones life...literally if you leave it too late.

I think I am so angry at myself for being so selfish,so consumed by smokinh-so pathetic-I feel so empowered by not smoking now-I still have to pich myself that I don't smoke anymore-I have just a few chocolates and previously I would HAVE to have a fag now and OMG would I enjoy it-and would love the IDEA of one now but in reality the taste would make me heave,I would go lightheaded and would NOT enjoy it whatsoever-when you don;t smoke you realise how disgusting the whole thing is.

Yeah...I saw some smokers today...all doing nothing except lingering outside where they worked smoking, alone, in big clouds of smoke..........and to think I thought I enjoyed that? Madness......
