Morning ladies

Popping back into town this morning with DS2 so he can go to the Warhammer Shop [boring emoticon]

Not sure if it is those Aquaban tablets Vinny or because my points have been lowered through WW online or a combination of both, but I certainly feel less bloated

Lizzy, mine did football club a couple of years back - they enjoyed it.

Jaq - ask away.....

travellingwilbury · 15/02/2010 08:14

It is a most unfortunate name to have on this thread

bellavita · 15/02/2010 08:21

Well done on the no smoking travelling

Lizzylou · 15/02/2010 08:29

Yay, Travelling, good for you

Bella, enjoy Warhammer, please don't let my two get into that!

DS1 went to football camp last year and it was a bit too much for him, he went for 3 days, this time he is only going for 2 and most of his friends are doing it too. Last time he was one of the youngest, he plays football more now as well,

travellingwilbury · 15/02/2010 08:40

Thankyou , now I just need to sort out my weight and all will be well .

wastingaway · 15/02/2010 08:46

Morning all!

Well done Wilbury. Perhaps take advantage of fresher lungs to do more exercise?

Right, I am refreshing my diet as of today. I've loaded up the No S diet website in a browser tab to look at through the day, I've had a big bowl of cereal to get me started and am going to meal plan and shop.
And then think about exercise.

DH is still ill, but he's gone to work.

DreamsInBinary · 15/02/2010 08:48

Well done Wilbury - is it right that the physical cravings should have finished now? I remember having terrible dreams every night where I looked down and realised I was half way through a cigarette. Are you feeling the benefits, yet?

travellingwilbury · 15/02/2010 08:49

That was my plan wasting but it hasn't happened so far . I have however had weetabix for b.fast rather than a fried egg sandwich which is what I actually fancy so I reckon that I am doing marvellously .

What is the No S diet ? Or is it easier if I google it ?

VinegarTits · 15/02/2010 08:50

Glad you feel less bloated Bella

i'm having a shit day already

travellingwilbury · 15/02/2010 08:53

DIB , the physical cravings have gone now (3 days it takes) sao now it is just the habit stuff but tbh I am finding it ok to deal with so far . A few blips but I have not smoked and I haven't really wanted one .
I do feel a bit better already and my chest def feels cleaner . So fingers crossed that I have got it cracked . How long ago did you give up ?

travellingwilbury · 15/02/2010 08:54

Whats up VT ?

DreamsInBinary · 15/02/2010 08:55

Poor Vinny - what's up?

Both DC decided to have a no-sleep night last night. As soon as I settled one and crawled back into bed, I'd hear a plaintative 'Mummeeeeee' and drag myself out to the other one. And repeat. And repeat...

Have had cake for breakfast to, um, raise my sugar-levels

DreamsInBinary · 15/02/2010 08:57

Eight years last August. Not that I'm counting! I was a heavy smoker and it was one of the best things I've ever done.

Sounds like you are doing brilliantly

travellingwilbury · 15/02/2010 08:59

Thanks and well done you . I am so surprised at how easy (ish) I am finding it . I just wish I had done it yrs ago .

MitsubishiWarrioress · 15/02/2010 09:00

Hey....what's wrong VT?

Thanks to all for comments on here and on my thread. I am feeling somewhat more positive and it is good to read the thread..

I am going to catch up when I have made my bed and sorted basic stuff out. DD has a friend coming over and she is a feisty wee thing so the house needs buttressing.

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 15/02/2010 09:01

bless ya DIB - its crap when its like that. A little cake is deserved.

I have a thumkping headache from another night of uninterrupted sleep. I feel truely crap. going to try fluids before trying pain killers. My body is just not used to this sleep thing

wastingaway · 15/02/2010 09:08

No S Diet

Sounds like we're all having a blinder of a morning so far!

DreamsInBinary · 15/02/2010 09:08

How unfair, DEM! You do the right thing and get some decent shut-eye, and you get a headache because of it .

Who has an interview this week? We need an online group calendar - my memory is not up to the job

bellavita · 15/02/2010 09:13

Hey Vinny - what's up?

You can't win DEM - no sleep makes you feel crap and full sleep (or too much) makes you feel worse too - vicious circle eh?

travellingwilbury · 15/02/2010 09:13

Thanks for the link wasting , how are you finding it ? One of the things I def need to cut out is the snacking so I might give it a go .

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 15/02/2010 09:19

I think it is lack of caffne/dehydration type headache. So hopefully will wear off on its own later. And situation will improve towards the end of the week. Tis luxary not to have to get up in the night. 5yo and ds is still up at least once in the night, even with sleep meds at least it is the ex who is dealing with that this week. although feel abit guilty as ds seems to be poorly. I do worry about him, a bit too much sometimes.

jetcat · 15/02/2010 09:20

hugs Vinny - whats up?

DEM - hugs to you too - hope you feel better soon

wastingaway · 15/02/2010 09:21

Wilbury, I haven't lost much yet, but it has been really helping me to stop snacking and picking at bits eg. finishing DS meals off.
I've lost it a bit the last week or so and put a few lbs back on, so I'm doing a bit of a reboot today.

travellingwilbury · 15/02/2010 09:25

I think I might give it a go , I need to get in the habit of not snacking and just eating at regular times . If I say it quickly enough it sounds easy doesn't it ?

Right I better go and do something with these children of mine . Hope everyone feels better quickly , and has a good one .

VinegarTits · 15/02/2010 09:30

oh i dont want to bore you with my depressing thoughts, ignore me, there are far worse off than me, just work politics pissing me off and this miserable weather grrr
