Wow Norma! That makes me feel better, i am the same build as you too. I am nearly that size now. Was he a big baby? I didn't show til 20weeks with DD and then i was still smaller than i am now. DD was 7lb4oz

traceybath · 12/02/2010 09:46

Alice - I did - she just gets way too aggressive and I can't stand all that third person stuff she does 'the pricey' etc.

But I do love her hairdresser and brother - they seem to have the measure of her.

Norma - it was entertaining and I do find her bizarrely interesting.

NormaSknockers · 12/02/2010 09:53

Suprisngly not, he was 7lbs 10oz My bump did slow down though, by the end I was actually measuring a few weeks behind so it all evened out in the end. I only gained 9lbs throughout the entire PG with him too....gained 4 with DD

NormaSknockers · 12/02/2010 09:54

4 stone with DD not 4lb....I wish!

Tracey IKWYM, I quite like her

wastingaway · 12/02/2010 09:57

Blimey Norma, was he a big baby?

Flam, not surprised you're in a bad mood! You will get the money back, but of course that won't help today I know.

I hate the bins. I'm sure fortnightly collections are to blame for my bin issue last summer.

Shiney, he sounds charming! Big car, little prick?

Well done Wilbury!

wastingaway · 12/02/2010 09:58

x-post there Norma. Once the stomach muscles have gone, they've gone I guess!

NormaSknockers · 12/02/2010 10:02

I always, always put weight on my stomach & added to the fact my stomach muscles are non-exsistant I guess I just ballooned

Alicetheinvisible · 12/02/2010 10:04

I didn't mean to sound rude Norma I mean it does make me feel better to know that subsequent babies show sooner. I think you're right Wasting, once the muscles have gone, they are gone! I used to ride racehorses before having DD so was quite muscly.

Alicetheinvisible · 12/02/2010 10:05

Norma - the weight goes to my middle first too

Alice you weren't rude at all you Ninny, glas it made you feel better

NormaSknockers · 12/02/2010 10:07

glad

That's not embarrassing Shiney don't sweat it, I was the result of a drunken fumble in the back of a Mini with a guy my mother had met a few hours earlier!!

Alicetheinvisible · 12/02/2010 10:30

Well Norma.....you've killed the thread with that one

wastingaway · 12/02/2010 10:37

Minis are very cool Norma.

traceybath · 12/02/2010 10:50

Shiney - I guessed you weren't with him years or you'd have killed him for the patronising crap. I can cope with lots of stuff but being patronised really makes the red mist descend.

Alice - with ds1 I gained 4 stone - more than 50% of my normal body weight - I was a weeble.

But with dd I gained just over 1.5stone but showed quicker - my weight always goes to my tummy first anyway.

Very excited - 'up' has just arrived on dvd so that'll keep the ds's occupied tomorrow pm.

Am off to my sisters later and bil is going to do my hair - am going blonder and short choppy bob. V handy having bil whose a hairdresser as sister will look after bea whilst I get my hair done.

Norma - I love the detail of the mini

Was trying to explain to ds1 this morning why I never see my dad - he buggered off when I was 4 - quite hard for a 5 year old to understand. Conversations went - so is grandad your dad - umm no he's my step-father, so is Dennis your dad - umm no he's granny's boyfriend . . .

VinegarTits · 12/02/2010 10:52

Morning

Shiney, arehole, i have one too, and no break for me again this weekend again

Poor FB, have a good scream, always makes me feel better

I was hugenormous when having ds2, like an elephant (although i weight more now that when i was 9 mths gone) i had an 8lb baby in there plus huge amounts of excess water

there is a pic of me on my real fb profile photos, not my vinny one

VinegarTits · 12/02/2010 11:00

my ds2 was the result of a one night stand, i would never have choosen to be in a relationship with his prick of a father (although didnt realise he was a prick when i shagged him )

BitOfFun · 12/02/2010 11:04

Urgh, Norma has given me her lurgy- I have just puked spectacularly after feeling shit for about half an hour. Slightly better now it's out, but nasty headache now- will pop back later if I perk up.

VinegarTits · 12/02/2010 11:13

oh poor you

NormaSknockers · 12/02/2010 11:15

Vinny - you mean we're not your real FB friends

Erm...sorry about the TMI re the Mini, by gob runs away with my frequently

Oh BOF I'm sorry Go & have a rest, hope you feel better

I had a brief moment of feeling slightly better so decided to make a vegetable lasagne so that all I have to do later is reheat it for the DC & DH can take some to work, feel crap again now so flopped on the sofa again watching women trot around in their undies on This Morning!

bellavita · 12/02/2010 11:16

I was absolutely huuuuuuge when I was pregnant - I gave birth to huuuuuuuge babies DS1 was 9lb 4 and DS2 was 9lb 5.5

Lizzylou · 12/02/2010 11:17

Norma, think you may have infected DS1 as well, he is complaining of being very hot and has gone white......

Hope you and BOF feel better.

Alice I was desperate for a proper bump when pg with DS1, we went on a beach holiday when I was 16wks and I kept patting my stomach all the time so people would know I was pg, not just fat. With DS2 I was showing by 12 weeks, by 5mths people were doing the "you must be due very soon", "sure it's not twins" stuff.

My first love drove a mini, have very fond teen memories of backseats of minis.

bellavita · 12/02/2010 11:17

Ahhh - I must be Vinny's real friend - I am not on VT's fb but her actual one!!

bellavita · 12/02/2010 11:18
NormaSknockers · 12/02/2010 11:19
