Ok, my verdict:

I got half way through and have laughed a lot. I cannot believe that there is a full out row on MN about ironing . What is the world coming to??? Surely there are more important things to bicker about?

Anyhow, VT, I don't think you were being mean, although I did laugh out loud at 'well I'm just a meaning ironing person' .

People don't have much sense of humour when it comes to big topics like breastfeeding, the iraq war, or whether or not to iron your clothes

Let it wash over you - I look forward to the next big ironing debate!

Hello Wasting and DIB - yay at DIB being speechless at Alan Hansen

Yes Trillian - I know, 101 cals per serving which is half a carton (I am starving so had the lot). Was delish.

Right am off now because DP has just come in and said 'shall we all go out for a curry'. Vindaloo here I come. Diet shmiet.

See you tomorrow - it is lovely to speak to you all again

FlamingoBingo · 05/02/2010 21:11

Wasting - bfing can really much up periods. Since mine re-started, my cycles have gone:

45 days
30 days
28 days
At which point I think 'ooh, back to normal', which used to be 27 days, only to have the next one be
23 days (extremely heavy and long) and then
40 days again

Very strange. I'm now on day 30 of this cycle...I wait with baited breath...(or is it bated?)

MyCatIsABastard · 05/02/2010 21:13

Cat is a bastard because he craps where you can stand in it, chunders on your pillow, yowls like a maniac in the middle of the night (at the end of the bed), attacks you randomly and is always begging for food. He occassionaly redeems himself by being nice and purring once in a while. He is quite a pretty cat and people don't believe me when I say not to stroke him (many people have left my house clutching a scratched hand).

3rd glass of wine and the world is looking a better place. Grapes... fruit of the gods!

Before the one last week, I'd actually gone about 8 weeks or so without.

TrillianAstra · 05/02/2010 21:19

Now eating healthy noodle soup (yes, know I had it last Friday too, I like it and it's eay okay?)

I am wondering if I will have odd 'cycles' when I don't actually have cyclical hormones - I'll have to get DP to indicate on the calendar when he thinks I am being unreasonable!

FlamingoBingo · 05/02/2010 21:21

If you spend any mroe time with use, Sazzles, you'll soon hear me using a raised voice with the girls!

MyCatIsABastard · 05/02/2010 21:22

I believe I have earned my stripes in the drunk bridesmaid stakes. At the aforementioned wedding I, the other bridesmad and the best man had, what can only be described as a gin and tonic convention at the top table. None of us could see by the time of the speaches! The grooms aunt was very kind and held my hair out of the way when I was throwing up over the hedge at 7pm. I looked a mixture between and . Not my finest hour!

Sazzles and FB - The three of us and various childrend should meet up then (DS is going to love being around all those girls). I can pretend that I'm having my own mini June meet up then as I can't make it then

MyCatIsABastard · 05/02/2010 21:24

speaches?? what are they then? of course I mean speeches!

It's tempting to turn up now, just to get tounges wagging. I have big furry feet slippers on and mascarra which is slowly making its way down my cheek.

TrillianAstra · 05/02/2010 21:51

I am stuffed full now. DP just arrived back with chips but I don't want any.

Enjoying the PJ/mascara idea for the pub

VinegarTits · 05/02/2010 21:58

Haha at metropolis

I have been watching tv with DH, but if you do ever both disappear to the pub, you'd better flipping text me first so I can come too!

MyCat - We should definitely meet up too And I can't go in June either - too far for me, I think . We need to get them to set up a video conferencing thing

MyCatIsABastard · 05/02/2010 22:07

Vinny - only if you call GLoucester a village. Sazz lives a bloody gorgeous little village, I live on the outskirts of suburbia but I don't know about FB.

I'm laughing reading BOF's quiz thread right now. I have always wondered about the bat picture and now I know the answer.

DreamsInBinary · 05/02/2010 22:09

Nobody lives near me

I think you should all move.

Bloody hell, DH is twitchy and on edge and generally unbearable. He gets like this every year at the start of the 6 Nations. I am excited, but jeez...

DS finally asleep after indirectly causing big stupid row between me and DH. I have eaten half a loaf of banana bread, and there is no bloody milk to wash it down with.

We've made up anyway, but I may have to start a thread about sleeping/controlled crying etc. I think he's too little to let scream, and I can't last for more than a few minutes without wanting to cry myself.

Arrgghhh.....think it's bedtime. Night ladies, see you tomorrow.
