Lizzylou · 04/02/2010 10:28

Gawd yes, Knock em dead, My Cat, am sure you'll be fab

MitsubishiWarrioress · 04/02/2010 10:29

MyCat....good luck vibes from here too..

How are you doing with your 3rd week battle Shiney? I hope you have conquered it.

DreamsInBinary · 04/02/2010 10:29

Fingers crossed MyCat

VinegarTits · 04/02/2010 10:35

Good luck MYCat, knock em dead

jetcatisfrozen · 04/02/2010 10:39

sorry mycat - good luck knock 'em dead

YanknCock · 04/02/2010 11:11

Iggi, junk food does make you feel worse, I can attest to that. This last week of not eating at home much has really highlighted that for me. Enjoy the cake at your friend's today and pick up some nice fruit and veg on the way home.

Shiney, your poor DD! Cannot believe they wouldn't xray it! How is she today? Don't worry about the crisps/chocolate, just focus on doing better today.

DIB, IME home gym equipment makes a fantastic £600 clothes airer

Sazz, did your DH enjoy RammStein? I read a review of the concert and it said there were baby doll mannequins shooting lasers out their eyes or some such thing....weird...

Alice, sorry to hear about your DH's work, my DH is also in a specialist sort of job, so very hard I know as far as looking elsewhere.

Breakfast plans for June---Trills and I will force my DH to make us a fry up or summat or possibly drive back into Manc to meet you all for a grease-fest.

FB, I think kids have a knack for making you feel guilty just when you don't need it. You are NOT a shit mum!

and good luck to MyCat today!

I think Lost has started in the U.S. so I am going to try to get it by some crafty not-quite-legal means.

I feel fab today. Got DS sleeping by 9pm, and he slept through till 7am! I think the growth spurt might be over. Thanks to FB for the advice on facebook, I have finally written you back.

FlamingoBingo · 04/02/2010 11:45

Hello

Well, I had someone coming over at 11am today to talk about HE, so our house is lovely and tidy after me busting a gut, and now she's not coming!

SO I thought that as DD4 was going to sleep, I'd enjoy an hour of the other girls watching tv while I MNetted then go to a friend's for lunch and the afternoon. Then the tv came on so loud it woke DD4 up .

MyCat - thinking about you! Good luck!

Everyone - I was only saying I was shit because Mitts said she'd have to come and visit me with her space hopper if I said it any more

Shiney - your poor DD . Say hello to her from me.

You're right, Shiney, and don't worry, I really do very little in terms of playing with the children. They get very fed up of me being on the laptop so much, but then they get my energy in other ways so it all evens out in the end. Daddy's best at playing, and Grandma, so it's not like they are short of adults who like playing!

MyCat - I agree with Sazzles! Please don't kill your interviewers!

TrillianAstra · 04/02/2010 12:07

at written in the stars.

Just been to doctors, booked appointment to get depo injection next friday.

traceybath · 04/02/2010 12:14

AAAAAGGGH

What a shit day.

Took ds1 into school came back and realised had got a flat front tyre where I had clipped the kerb parking.

Called DH who still at home who gives me the AA number so I can sort it out. On phone to AA when phone runs out of battery so go into school to use their phone.

AA man comes after waiting an hour with bea and arthur and realise new fucking car doesn't have a spare tyre. Companies won't let me pay for tyre over the phone so have to get DH to meet AA man at kwikfit to buy one - I couldn't go as couldn't get dc's in AA van. DH being a knob and annoyed because he was too busy to mess about - because of course I did it on purpose.

Anyway both dc's bored and tired, my rib is killing me from where I banged it on the cot a week ago and I am very very grumpy.

Only good thing is that I'm now one whole pound under my goal weight.

Shiney - hope your DD is feeling better.

Alice - DH has his own company - was/is stressful and we were very very hard up for first few years but is the best thing he has ever done.

Flamingo - hope your day gets better.

VinegarTits · 04/02/2010 12:14

FB i totally agree with Shiney (i went to the Shiney school of parenting ), stop saying your a crap mum, your not, youre allowed 10 mins to yourself to MN, its not like you do it all day like me, your dd should be more patient and learn to amuse herself more

VinegarTits · 04/02/2010 12:14

what is a 'depo' injection?

oh i see, i was thinking it was something to rid your body of poo - depo

VinegarTits · 04/02/2010 12:26

Trecay, bummer about your tyre, great news about your weight though! well done

VinegarTits · 04/02/2010 12:28

Trecay? i sounded like a cockney then

Tracey obviously

hellsbelles · 04/02/2010 12:44

poor trills -we really have terrified her haven't we? Maybe we should be gushy every so often? I'll start...

DD - was making me laugh so much today - as she is mistress of silly faces - she has recently worked out how to do 'Jimmy Hill chin' which basically involves jutting her chin out at a determined angle. Very cute in a 12 month old...maybe not so 'cool' when she's 15

DreamsInBinary · 04/02/2010 13:06

But Tracey, you're thin.

That would have me smiling no matter what happened

DreamsInBinary · 04/02/2010 13:08

Mmm, that was meant to be a compliemnt, but on re-reading could come across as not one, but two insults

As you no doubt know, I meant that you are slim, slim, slim and was joyful

jetcatisfrozen · 04/02/2010 13:37

DIB, and Tracey - bummer about the car but yay for your weight

I think you are doing marvellous FB and we are all allowed those day where we just feel
