Oh poor DD Shiney . I would maybe get her excused from pe for the next week or so to see if it settles and if it doesn't get her an appointment to see the gp who could refer her to a knee specialist. Crap sitting in an A&E with a vending machine full of chocolate and stuff. I had a torn cartilage which meant I could not kneel down or squat down on my knee. Never really tried running with it before it was fixed, but it used to ache before I had my op like growing pains. I also used to get stabbing pains on the inside of my knee. No swelling though. It used to give way a lot and when the surgeon checked it out it kept clicking.

I had a massage from Squeezy tonight on facebook. Due to some really complicated rl things going on, it has been impossible for her to get on mn or the pooter so she is hoping to be back soon once everything settles down.

Shiney - ouch! poor thing, possibly ligament damage (hurts like fuck)

Bit pissed off this evening (shocking i know) DH had a meeting at work where they basically told everyone that no one would get a rise this year, please try not to waste anything, don't let the doors bang (WTF? apparently it is bad for the doors) all because their new premises cost a bit more than they expected, but please keep up the good work DH is getting really down about it all, he has been there 10yrs and feels his career is going nowhere (well, he is doing very well, but unfortunately his pay nowhere near reflects that)

Alice - DH didn't get a rise this year either... it sucks doesn't it. Although to be fair to his company, the big cats took reduced salaries or summat. Has he had a look elsewhere?

Have realised I'm only shocked at your swearing Alice as I expect people called Alice (which you're not, come to think of it ) to be angelic and perfume-mouthed.
