Thanks for mentioning the "S" word Lizzy... it is bloody snowing here now and laying

Someone mention biscuits? Make mine a chocolate hobnob please.

Alicetheinvisible · 03/02/2010 18:00

Chocolate bourbons
Do have a biscuit tin but it is a bugger to get the lid off and she can hear me.

I managed to scoff two while DD was having a strop in the living room She now smells really bad, but will not let me near her (having a strop because she saw me put pizza in the oven and it is not ready NOW) Drinking my tea and trying not to breathe through my nose

galway · 03/02/2010 18:04

bellavita · 03/02/2010 18:06

Oh gawd yes, you must perfect the art of head in fridge to scoff the unmentionables Alice

Flamingo - I hope things pick up for you.

God knows what time I am going to see DH. He has just phoned from Leeds - he said it is snowing like bloody hell and the roads are just gridlocked because of the weather.

Hi Galway (lovely part of the world!), welcome, well done on 6lbs off as well

Bella, sorry! I thought it only fair to share
I am wondering the same about DH, he is picking up DS2 from PILs, they off to the theatre tonight (we got them tickets for Christmas) so he needs to get there early.....

Flam, I live in the tropics, East Lancashire. Never marry a Northern man, or live in a valley up a v steep hill to the main road!

Hi Galway - welcome! 6lb is a very good start indeed - well done!

bellavita · 03/02/2010 18:21

Hello Galway

Am glad you are feeling better Sazz. Can you get yourself an early night?

Luckily we are having meatballs and fresh pasta, it will not spoil, is easy to reheat his and put the pasta on for him when he walks in the door.

DS2 has just opened the door and said OMG at how quickly it is laying thick and fast.

I hope the Shiney one is ok today.

NormaSknockers · 03/02/2010 19:00

Bella - so for you about the car, some people just have absolutely no morals what so ever! On another note you're my kind of girl asking for a chocolate hibnob

Tracey - well done on getting to goal weight that's brilliant, well done you

Lizzy - poor you that must have been scary, I'm glad there were people kind enough to help you out & that DS got home ok. Here have some Maltesers

Welcome Galway - 6lbs is a fab start well done

Shiney how you doing today?

Bless my Nana she stopped by after her weigh in today & dropped me in a WW Oil Sprayer for getting back on track Will come in rather handy & only 0.5 per spray & there's quite alot in one spray! I just ordered a WW Points Clicker too as thought it looked quite handy!

Sorry - waffling about trival crap again

Sazzles, your DH is going to see the same band my DH saw last night!! I also offered to stay home with the baby DH reckoned it was worth seeing for the pyrotechnics alone.

Lizzy, how scary! Glad you are ok and DS is home safely.

Welcome galway....

FB, at least you are recognising the signs of depression in yourself before you are completely down at the bottom of the spiral. I think we get better at it as we get older. Keep posting, don't isolate yourself. Even if RL friends can't be with you, your virtual friends are just a click away

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 03/02/2010 19:09

i think i am going to pass out from blowing up balloons...

YanknCock · 03/02/2010 19:10

We had tuna leek & rice gratin for dinner (WW recipe, pretty nice). DH in major trouble for coming in, spying the recipe and moaning 'oh I don't like tuna'. He has recanted and apologised following my very loud lecture about modelling healthy, non-fussy eating for DS with added 'when I make you a nice hot meal the appropriate response is not fucking whinging before you've even tried it thank you very much!'.

He admitted it was actually quite tasty. Result!

VinegarTits · 03/02/2010 19:14

hello all

3 bloody meetings i've had today, the last one lastest 3 fecking hours, and they are meetings about fecking meetings, i hate meetings

I've got no chance of catching up on the thread so wont even try, how is everyone?

NormaSknockers · 03/02/2010 19:15

DEB - delegate the job to someone else

Jac - about your grandad are you ok? at your mum being on here maybe if you just keep a low profile she won't spot you?

OP posts:
BitOfFun · 03/02/2010 19:16

Me neither, Vinny- I am hopelessly behind

VinegarTits · 03/02/2010 19:19

hows your decorating coming on BOF? i went back to Ikea last weekend, for therapeutic reasons storage boxes

hellsbelles · 03/02/2010 19:20

mitts - you made me smile thinking of you having a tantrum in the shop and DS having to calm you down

Welcome galway - your name seems really familiar - are you a regular poster?

Flam - your FIl sounds like a wise man. WE'll make sure that if it sounds like you are ducking from asking for help - we can remind you what he said (does that make sense?)

Tracey - so sorry - somehow I missed that you had reached your target weight. That is wonderful and so quick.

Supper tonight - steak, stuffed red peppers and green beans. I'm still rather stuck on current weight which is pretty galling as I'm being good. I know I'm not overweight any more so that helps. But I want to look lush! So will continue to press on - and may do another Norma prescribed bodyshock (i.e. big cake) to get me back on track. We have a meal out t/m so that may do the trick

galway · 03/02/2010 19:28

hello everyone thanks for the worm welcome..this is a very fast thread im trying to keep up...

lizzylou - cheers for that, uve been to galway so? yes its a fantastic place i miss it all the time.

sazzlea - have not started a diet really, diets dont work for me, im just eating regularly, smaller portions lots of fruit and veg, nothing to drink other then green tea and water and got a new workout dvd that im loving, its great, doing that for 40min everyday thats a walk in the evenin for about 20min so i thinking thats about all i can do until im a bit fitter.

everyone seems lovely on this site...

hellsbelles - im a new user, just joined this evening, seen the address on another site...

NormaSknockers · 03/02/2010 19:29

OP posts:
hellsbelles · 03/02/2010 19:35

Galway - it does move really fast! Sorry - I was so sure I'd seen you before! Anyway - doesn't make any difference - nice to have you here.

Hells - yes it makes sense

Yank - I can't tell you how many pits of despair this thread has saved me from in the last few months! You are all wonderful women!

Vinny - I am shit. That about sums me up

BOF - when you're done, can you come and decorate our bedroom please?

FlamingoBingo · 03/02/2010 19:40

Galway - what dvd have you got?

Sazzles - FIL is very kind but can be very odd, and MIL is simply bonkers. They both mean well though, and FIL has saved my life, really.
