Revolutionaries of The Shiney Path - The Gorillas In Our Midst Eat Healthily

Welcome to our 22nd Healthy Eating thread under the auspicious eye of Shiney the Cult Leader. She is vegetarian (like a gorilla), but you don't have to be! Or hairy!

I may be getting distracted by my over-cryptic thread title (it is hard when all the obvious ones have been done- fwiw The Shining Path are a South American guerrilla group and I'm looking at watching Che on dvd later, what can I say...), but I have been appointed Tsar With Authority for Titles, and starting this on a Friday night may be ill-judged, BUT...

We are here with the aim of eating healthily, losing weight in varying amounts if that is what we wish, and most of all posting as often as we're able to support each other. We have a good laugh too. Allegedly. But we're no trouble, no siree...

New-comers very welcome, just introduce yourselves and pile in!

Oooo what thread have I missed? Sorry got distracted by dinner the X Factor

TrillianSlasher · 04/10/2009 21:56

The previous one did and this is no more circumspect than that, so if MNHQ are consistent...

If it's not a troll then I seriously doubt that the person being discussed will see it unless (until?) someone points her at it. She was only posting on her own threads in the last week, not really in a position where you would be browsing around chat.

FiveGoMadonTheDanceFloor · 04/10/2009 22:13

Shiney - glad you are going o a doctor, it has been ongoing for some ime so obviously somehing is not right.

Yay - no one in yet until Friday which means we can relax and not panic when DD comes wandering up to our bedroom at supid oclock.

Actually i think there have been some very valuable points raised today. In hindsight i remember thinking there was something that didnt add up about bug gys but couldnt be arsed to check it out and quiet frankly have better things to be doing then dwelling on it. Do people generally turn on mn at point of crisis? people who are on and crisis turns up i get but turning it on at precise moment of crisis i dont get. can someone explain to me please.

SqueezyCheese · 04/10/2009 22:37

Is that thread gone now? The 'what happened' one.

BewareTheFullMoon · 04/10/2009 22:40

it would appears so. it has disappeared from my threads i'm on.

SqueezyCheese · 04/10/2009 22:41

I think that it's probably not something that us rabble will find out. Although maybe this trolling thing needs a better solution because it does get quite ugly sometimes. I guess this is the issue with being in the DM. the higher the mn profile the more trolls that target.

Salsavita · 04/10/2009 22:48

Justine came on the thread and said it would stay there for the time being and that they were trying to get hold of D, but had been unsuccessful on a number of occasions and maybe they had a "dud" email address for her. She then came on and said her email addy had been "playing up" and they could email on ......

Perhaps they now know

SqueezyCheese · 04/10/2009 22:51

Bella, I thought it was Dee who came on and said she had been having trouble with her email address and gave an alternative?

Salsavita · 04/10/2009 22:55

Squeezy, yep she did - the She I am referring to is d in my second sentence.

DreamsInBinary · 04/10/2009 22:55

It was Dee that came on to explain about the email address, but I am in the middle of a mountain of ironing, so not sure what happened after that.

SqueezyCheese · 04/10/2009 22:58

Oh wow.

DreamsInBinary · 04/10/2009 22:59

I don't understand!

Lizzylou · 04/10/2009 23:00

Am almost positive that it is not Dee, I would bet my life on it, truly.

No, really????
I need to go to bed, but am worried now.

SqueezyCheese · 04/10/2009 23:03

No, I don't think Bella means Dee, I think Bella means the person the whole thing was about, also beginning with D. I didn't realise that 'D' had came on and said that.

Bella/salsa - is it ok to still call you Bella? I just realised it probably comes across as weird now your name is changed

BewareTheFullMoon · 04/10/2009 23:03

DIB fancy taming my ironing monster? Half of it is still going around the washing machine stupid school uniforms. It'll be in the tumble for 6.30am to be dry for ds to put on before school. Work stuff on radiator and hopefully dry. and need to get this stupid subject audit sorted out.
Oh carp to it. i am going to get sorted another time. Im going to leave the strange world of mn and to mn and someone can fill me in on the end at some point

yep tis all carp just read the first line of that.
