Welcome to what may be our 21st Healthy Eating thread!

We take it with varying levels of seriousness- in fact we are a pretty light-hearted bunch generally, but we do support each other, whether we are trying to lose a little (or a lot of) weight, or just get fitter.

Shiney is our Glorious Leader , ably backed up by the ass-kicking Sycamoretree and many other lovely regulars.

Come and join us- post as much as you can and join in the fun, nay, the phenomenon that is the Shiney thread

Afternoon all! Been asleep since about 9 am, as I literally didnt get a wink before then because I was sneezing and snuffling so much. Feel very lazy to waste so much of the day, but what can you do when you're that tired?

Lizzylou · 26/09/2009 17:18

Loving the dress, Trill, really nice. Have a good night.

Sazz, your afternoon sounds fab.

Well done Fanny on your DIY prowess, have a good night too

Hope BOF and Shiney feel better

Jet, really hope your ex comes through for your DD, what an ass.

Just cooking my jacket potatoes, DH is exhausted after having the boys all day (altogether now......aaaah!). He hasn't mentioned that he is away for 5 days as of next Friday and how I'm supposed to be....!!!

TrillianAstra · 26/09/2009 17:21

Dress is just above knee length, will wear with tights and boots if daytime, heels (and probably tights as well) if evening.

DP is on the phone to MIL organising his graduateion ceremony - she wants all his family to come down and watch and he'd really rather not bother at all and just get the piece of paper. She said something at the beginning of the conversation that he replied to with 'but I might want Trillian there' (obv he didn't say Trillian ) so I'm wondering what that is. I don't care baout the ceremony if tickets are limited, it's boring, but there's alunch after and I definitely want to come to that.

TrillianAstra · 26/09/2009 17:24

Shiney is fighting? What a surprise!

StrictlySazz · 26/09/2009 17:31

LOL Bella, really NOT the high life - i bought some slippers for me and some fleece PJ's for me in Primark (Bristol not London BTW), was back at my friends at 9pm with an Indian takeaway and in bed by 10.30 with a cup of tea

BoF - you obviously needed it, so don't fret about wasting a day

Very cute here, both DD's dancing round with no trousers on (got dirty and never replaced ) to Mamma Mia. My 13 month old is clapping and trying to wiggle her hips and keeps falling over. Shouln't laugh really

Shiney - is that a Thomas the Tank engine film at the cinema? I might take DD1 as she would love it. I'm assuming it's not very long? Good luck fighting the good fight.

Now, do i stop the girls watching the DVD and take them for a bath, or sat here and MN and postpone bath 'till tomorrow? They are quite dirty BTW

NormaSknockers · 26/09/2009 17:32

Thanks Lizzy that's very encouraging Next on the last day leaps to 20 mins of running with no walking - I think I'll die

Trills loving that dress, very swish!

Shiney sounds like a lovely time out - what you fighting about on AIBU?

Jet bless DD wanting to look nice, has it been a long time since she saw that dick her dad? Tell me to bog off btw!

BitOfFun · 26/09/2009 17:40

Come and give me your advice on AIBU?

I have namechanged but you'll spot it- I think Flamingo has been on there already (I hope she hasn't said I'm a twat )....

Let them watch film and a quick wipe down with wet wipe to remove excess grub before bed.

Enjoy siting

Salsavita · 26/09/2009 17:43

Aww BofF - that was your body saying rest....

Yep shiney fighting - that does sound familiar

Slippers and fleece pj's are the high life to me Sazz . I was so bloody cold in bed last night, I put my bed socks on. Then, in the middle of the night I had a flippin hot flush >

We are having samsosas and the like for tea and curry with rice.

BitOfFun · 26/09/2009 17:45

It seems that I am being unreasonable

Your threads, or just any threads you happen to be on?

Maybe it's you, namechanged, during a blackout when you become your Mr Jekyll...

StrictlySazz · 26/09/2009 17:51

Oh crap, i'm now in tears, cuddling DD1 whilst Meryl is trilling out 'Slipping through my fingers'

We are having curry for tea too. Never made samosa's - are they easy?

I've just had some prawn cocktail flavour crisps. Yum. And am painting my nails bright pink.

Maybe she just doesn't like you SHiney.

BitOfFun · 26/09/2009 17:56

Ah I see...

TrillianAstra · 26/09/2009 17:57

Norma - the last proper contact she had with him was her birthday back in March. She has seen in a couple of times since then, when i have took them up to see their grandad etc and dad was there. I made sure i stayed though. Its a long story, so i wont bore you with all the details - suffice to say it was bordering on emotional abuse what he was doing to her, and i had to put my foot down and stop contact.

TrillianAstra · 26/09/2009 18:05

Just cos you'd rather have your painting persona on the passport!

NormaSknockers · 26/09/2009 18:05

I know exactly who you're referring to Shiney - tbh I haven't come across a thread yet where she's actually been nice! I think she likes to stir things up & be....well quite frankly rude!

TrillianAstra · 26/09/2009 18:06

I don't know who you're talking about at all.
