Welcome to what may be our 21st Healthy Eating thread!

We take it with varying levels of seriousness- in fact we are a pretty light-hearted bunch generally, but we do support each other, whether we are trying to lose a little (or a lot of) weight, or just get fitter.

Shiney is our Glorious Leader , ably backed up by the ass-kicking Sycamoretree and many other lovely regulars.

Come and join us- post as much as you can and join in the fun, nay, the phenomenon that is the Shiney thread

morning guys - sorry wasnt around yesterday, RL took over a bit

Vinny - hope your feeling a little better, and i am loving the idea of Shiney checking her crystal ball for you

Speaking of Shiney - hope you are feeling better as well

not sure of what to do for meals today - have no shopping in so will need to pop to shop - or get a takeaway

Hope everyone is up and fighting fit

Lizzylou · 29/09/2009 08:08

HI all
Hope the poorly ones are OK
Shiney, I too picture you as the new Female Copper in Waking the Dead. Do you get to strike Charlies Angels style poses with gun in hand?
All a bit bleurgh here, but kicking ass (think I said that a few weeks ago) and looks like some of our household problems are being sorted.

Believe it when I see it.

Am knackered and achey too, need more fruit and veg I think.

Going to shake myself up and be more positive today, so will be channelling Gareth Cheeseman again or maybe Chris Akabusi (he's always smiling isn't he?)

NormaSknockers · 29/09/2009 08:54

Morning

How are our poorly people this morning? Feeling any better?

Taking the DC out today as DH has the day off, lots of walking involved so should be a good thing! Start week 5 of running tonight, dreading it!

What's everyone up to today?

Is it sad that I'm really looking forward to dinner tonight? I'm kaing salmon on a bed of stir fry with beansprouts & peppers & new potatos - YUM!

Oooo just spotted I'm tip of the day again, I'm going well this week

Our bathroom seriously needs cleaning and DP is not doing it. I don't think I can hold out much longer...

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 29/09/2009 17:16

Sorry it is taking you so long to recover shiney, and that BoF is now illing.

I am much improved and have just been working.

Sorry VT is so down.

DD is talking incessantly, it is hard to believe she had speach therapy.

Salsavita · 29/09/2009 17:25

Yep, working here too!

Swapped my shift around today so I could see the consultant over my knee this afternoon - just got back. He has arranged for me to have some physio . I did roast a chicken after work, but not had time to do anything else, so going to have fish and chips tonight and the cold chicken tomorrow. Have also just stuffed two biscuits down

Trill, as much as it may pain you, do not give in over the bathroom

and I love crunchies
