Sounds like everyone has ahd a good day, we went for a mega walk this afternoon ending up playing in the river because it was so warm.

Had a bacon sandwich for late breakfast, a WW packet of crisps and a tracker and we are having sticky pork with rice and veg for supper, and enough points for wine.

Off to church in a bit with DD and then to pub after if she is good.

Sycamoretreeisvile · 12/09/2009 17:39

There were Monster Trucks at Legoland today...if she was in carpark E she would have seen them.

No one was badly behaved at Legoland today.

SqueezyCheese · 12/09/2009 17:56

Dinner tonight will be a ciabatta roll with 2 veggie burgers (70 cals each) and salad.

NaughtyAlice · 12/09/2009 18:03

Evening all.

Kitten is home, very cute, completely unbothered by feral toddler who seems intent on eating poor kitty's food and grabbing him at every available moment.

We have named him Loki, will try to get some pics this weekend of him.

Dinner tonight is baaaad salmon en croute, creamy mash, broccoli, wine and chocolate pud. I will enjoy every mouthful (back on the wagon tomorrow though. i promise)

Have a good evening all

Hi everyone!! I posted a recipe earlier on for carrot and butter bean soup, it's low fat. A receipe thread is a really good idea.

I've asked at our local leisure centre about swimming lessons for improvers, I haven't been swimming for years, and I don't swim properly anyway. Impressed at Trillian and Sazz swimming 50 lengths and 64 lengths!

Syc - we went to Legoland a couple of years ago, my ds is now 7 and I think he would get alot more out of it. Sounds like you had a good day.

LovelyLulu · 12/09/2009 18:06

Alice, how old is your kitten? Nice name.

BitOfFun · 12/09/2009 18:12

Looking forward to the pics

FlamingoBingo · 12/09/2009 18:29

Good evening everyone

I've had a good day - went to a friend's DSs's birthday party this afternoon, which was fun, and then did more clothes sorting afterwards wtih Mum.

Shiney - please post on the FB page the info Syc has sent to you!

I'm 'working' and banished upstairs to the spare room, so please entertain me until I am free at 8!!

FlamingoBingo · 12/09/2009 18:32

BOF - where the hell did you learn to drive????

Shiney - do you have an annual pass?

It's so frickin' expensive, but we never go unless we have a twofer offer.

Lulu - yes, your DS would LOVE it now. There really is a ridiculous amount to do there, and he'd be big enough for all the rides now I would have thought (need to be 1.3 for biggest rides).

Poor DS, you have to be 90cms to even just go on the gentlest of rides and he's only 80cms high

He did go on the carousel and the hot air balloon ferris wheel thang.

DD is cracking me up at the mo - she's watching Britain Does The Funniest Things with DH and howling like a hyena...except it's totally fake - she's just copying how hard DH laughs at other people's misfortune [saddo] DH, not DD.

We are having cottage pie and roasted veg tonight.

DD has eaten rice for the first time since she was 2!!!! Yay. A whole new world of food opportunities open up before us.

BitOfFun · 12/09/2009 18:42

Good idea, yy.

Flamingo, I'm being thick- what's the driving reference?

Sycamoretreeisvile · 12/09/2009 18:43

The recipe thread is a great idea. Everyone has to promise not to chat on it though. All comments of OOoh, that sounds delish must be put on this thread....as a kind of advert for said thread

DreamsInBinary · 12/09/2009 18:44

Evening

Loving the name, Squeezy .

Same to Alice . Fingers crossed that Kitty isn't quite so naughty, and doesn't end up in as much of a pickle

FlamingoBingo · 12/09/2009 18:44

On the things you've done that no one else has thread ie. being shot at on a driving lesson!

Talking of names, I'm fed up with Lovelylulu. I am thinking of changing it to my porn star name, SindyMacfarlane.

Sycamoretreeisvile · 12/09/2009 18:50

Lulu, YESSS, but tart it up even more.

LovelyLulu · 12/09/2009 18:52

or SindyRococoMcFarlaneTheWhip

FlamingoBingo · 12/09/2009 18:54

Wish I could have kept my EricBanaIsShaggingMe name, but I felt it was a bit too flippant when I was answering more serious posts...

LovelyLulu · 12/09/2009 18:55

LegoLand - dd's pre school were selling Invitation books, there are loads of money off vouchers, it a fundraising thing. We got into Warwick Castle for half price, but there is also Legoland, Madame Tussauds and a few others.
