VinegarTits · 14/09/2009 21:27

I have a work suit in my wardrobe (size 14), i havent worn it in quite a while, the reason why - after i had ds2 i went down to a size 12 so it was too big

I tried it on tonight, and guess what? its too tight

Fuckerty fuck grrr

TrillianAstra · 14/09/2009 21:41

Hmm, how many threads will you guys have gone through when I get back?

DidEinsteinsMum · 14/09/2009 21:54

Depends on how long you are away. approx 1 thread per 2-3days at mo on average. So i guess there is maths to do. If you like you say days and i'll guess

FlamingoBingo · 14/09/2009 22:07

Oh God! Save me! Save me from these delicious biscuits DD1 and DD2 made all by themselves this afternoon!!! They keep falling in my mouth! I've eaten about four or five!!!

TrillianAstra · 14/09/2009 22:09

When you can't remember how many biscuits you've had, it's time to stop. The same goes for pints

Have saved three so they have one each (baby not counted!). I sent DH into the kitchen with them so they were no longer staring me in the face.

Iggi999 · 14/09/2009 22:53

Have done 30 mins! And everyone's gone to bed!! Sorry DEM, not implying you are doing anything wrong, just that students (have I got that right?) have higher standards for themselves than they realise. And you put the rest of us lazy bastards to shame

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 15/09/2009 06:56

Morning!

I have been on the rowing machine and done Ab crunches. And drunk a pint of water,. I am pleased with myself because I was diagnosed with chronic anaemia 8 months ago and had to almost stop exercising completely.

Have a brilliant break Trill, you can rely on my round ups to keep you fully informed when you get back .

Busy day today and supposed to be Kboxing this evening. Actually missed a couple of weeks because of feeling unwell, so fingers crossed.
So.. cheers to all for now, hope all have a good day.

Lizzylou · 15/09/2009 07:02

Wow TMW, that is some going, it's not even 7am!
Hope that your day goes OK, DEM, you've a lot on.
DH woke me up at 4am, left at 4.30am but I managed to have an hours sleep after that so not too bad.

bellavita · 15/09/2009 07:04

Morning

Will be having my yogha breakfast and a ham sandwhich for lunch. Chilli, rice and some salad for tea.

Popping out this morning before work as I need to get birthday cards and a few other bits n bobs, so will probably see you all tonight. > It all sort of went tits up at 4.55pm when one of the Yr7s nicked a bloody bike and the pastoral office (knew they were in there) decided not to answer their phones and the same boy was threatening another child.. these kids are "hard"!

Shiney - I am worried about you... you are a leeetle quiet and don't seem your usual self.

travellingwilbury · 15/09/2009 07:10

Good morning everyone ,

Trills have a fab holiday .

I am off for my walk this morning after the school run . It is 3 miles so takes under an hour at a good pace . I am thinking about starting yoga next week . I get a bad back and painful joints sometimes so I think it will help . Does it help with weight loss too ?

Lizzylou · 15/09/2009 07:23

Travelling, I've got that Yoga for Weightloss by Sissen.
It is tricky, esp the abs bit which I cannot master,I am not very flexible. I know that there are other YOga DVD's designed to help with weightloss.
Bella, those Year 7's sound a bit scary!
Have a great holiday Trills.

bellavita · 15/09/2009 07:42

Lizzy - believe me, that is just the tip of the iceberg.

We have Behaviour Managers that run round all day rounding absconding kids up, they have to go into classes and haul kids out that won't behave and go into classes to sort the whole class out. We have kids that just won't come to school, kids that constantly reoffend....... we had one child yesterday - Yr8 who just went beserk and started throwing chairs at computers, he just completely lost it.

Lizzylou · 15/09/2009 07:45

It is very scary, behaviour managers??? Cripes, who knew they had/needed those in schools?

DS1 is only in YR1 of reception, I am scared now!

bellavita · 15/09/2009 07:52

Lizzy - I don't think it is the norm to have them.... I certainly don't think DS1's school have them - he is in secondary.

It is a school in the middle of one of the largest council estates. The kids come from all sorts of broken down backgrounds and no matter how bad a child is the school have to take them... There are about 900 kids at the school - most of them behave.

jetcat32 · 15/09/2009 08:02

morning peeps

TMW - all i can say is WOW

Bella - sounds like hard work but i bet there will be some great moments with the kids as well as the tough times - here's hoping anyway!

Flamingo - hope you managed to step away from the remaining biscuits

Have a top time Trill

Shiney - hope you well x

ReddyMealsAreNotWorthIt · 15/09/2009 08:07

I can't keep up with you all!

Haven't read this thread yet but just wanted to report that I'm apparently 5lbs lighter this week!

Don't know why as havn't always been good - suspect last week was a pre-menstrual one, and battery in scales is running down - either way I'm happy to accept it

travellingwilbury · 15/09/2009 08:08

TMW , that is amazing for such a silly time in the morning ,
Lizzy , that is good to here , hopefully it will make some sort of difference to my flabby bits

I had a little bit of a dodgy day yesterday , nothing major , I think because I weighed yesterday I then think I can relax for a day . So back on track today .

Weetabix for b.fast
Ham salad for lunch
Who knows for dinner

Hope everyone has a good day
