You could ask mnhq to delete your posts- they might do it if you are under threat in RL? It depends what she will do with the info? Does she know you are on MN though? She might have just found a mutual friend on twitter and traced you that way...

I really don't know. I don't think she knows I am on MN, it's been a great hideout for me. She has found me before elsewhere and in the past I've had to threaten her with the Police. Long story.

I was wondering if Twitter was like FB and that maybe she has my address in her email from all that time ago and maybe Twitter tried to match it up or something ....but then she wouldn't know that address. I've not been on my Twitter for months. Have closed it now.

You'll be happy to know that googling your MN name does not bring up MN on the first page of hits.

HG - namechange and set up a new account on MN. Set up a new email account on hotmail or something, and put in a fake postcode and use that for all your online dealings - FB, twitter, MN etc. - that you don't want to be traceable.

And make sure you tell us who you are!

ABW - I am so, so glad you came back and got enough support to survive the night.

Shine - I was all set to cyber-yell at that bint last night, but thought she would disappear faster if we all ignored her and she was just randomly posting.

I'm ok so far, Lulu, thank you. Except I did have a brief moment of self-dislike earlier on, when I remembered something I'd said the other day about DH that could have been really disloyal. Sometimes the moments of self-dislike signal a returning for my black dog.

However, I wrote a note to DD1 and put it by her pillow with the rainbow magic books box set I got her from freecycle and had a nice 'I am a nice mum' moment when I did that - hopefully it cancelled the negative feeling out!

DD1 came down ten minutes later having woken up and discovered her note and pressie and gave me a huge cuddle and said thank you

I did a parenting course recently, and we were advised to replace negative self-talk with a positive one, it sounds like you are doing really well. Also, I can blow little things well out of proportion, also advice was to stop and think - "will this be a problem when I am old or in a few days time?"

That is so lovely what you did with dd, the next time I feel I've messed things up will try that.

I keep meaning to go on freecycle, perhaps good for raffle prizes. I still do dd's pre-school committee.

Maybe Mr Trill is privately concerned that if the two of you get to know each other she will make a hit on you Trill.

She is a bit out of order and I would push for the two of you to meet. She must realise that he will talk to you. That is what most couples do. Invite her to dinner with a friendly note.

I am TMW by the way and I have about 1/2 st to lose but am trying to get back to good eating habits that developed when my own black gog gave me the run around.
