Sycamoretreeisvile · 13/09/2009 21:11

Don't make me post the view from DD's window. It is of the sewage works

Now, I've posted this link on another thread but I love it so much I'm linking it here to cheer you all on and inspire you all to get active

You should skip forward to one minute thirty because up to the point it's just crowds going wild.

I can do this too honest gov

GetOrfMoiLand · 13/09/2009 21:12

Hello everyone. Hope you all had a nice weekend. I have been acting as a taxi service for my dd whose social diary this weekend was full. Why does my dd have a more active social life than me?

Anyway, knee better now I think so will go to gym tomorrow night - have not been for 2 weeks! And during that time the diet has fallen by the wayside so BACK ON DIET WITH VENEGEANCE tomorrow.

I am sat here replete as cooked a gorgeous Tunisian harissa stew with couscous tonight which was one of the nicest things I have ever cooked (Nigella recipe). I had thirds.

Hope everyone's OK

Sycamoretreeisvile · 13/09/2009 21:12

DidEinsteinsMum · 13/09/2009 21:18

ok i am beginning to get frightened. This country is either rather small or i am just very well travel. Five - i drove past your house this summer - we enjoyed both the peacocks/hens and the treasure hunt (surprisingly topical for tonight) when we visited lulworth cast le. Will post a favourite view when i have broused the picks. I have a fvourite sign i could post though. On profile in a mo.

VT - I laughed like a drain (odd phrase) at your Face posts. Was quite when Shiney raised doubts, but then I'm a guillable fool

That cheerleading clip was astounding. Oh to be young and fit. Did anyone else read a really trashy serious of American cheerleader books when they were younger? The lead girl was poorbutgood and called Mary Ellen, so everyone called her Melon. Am appalled I remember that.

Sycamoretreeisvile · 13/09/2009 21:29

Were they along the lines of Sweet Valley High DIB?

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 13/09/2009 21:30

Evening everyone There are 8 pages for me to catch up on, so that isn't going to happen - anything exciting happened??

We have been at my Mum's today - lunch was roast venison with sweet potatoes and green beans and then blackberry and apple crumble for pudding. We went blackberrying this morning and I think I ate my own body weight in blackberries - yum!

Probably going to have some toast for supper and then head off to bed. Still feel really full of cold and horrid which is hampering my exercise efforts. Only managed 2 x 30mins this week .

Welcome Echo.

We went on holiday to West Lulworth at Easter, Fanny. May be going there next year too.

Our house is near the city centre, in a crappy place. We are planning and preparing for a rather large life-style change - will sell the house and see what we can buy with the money. If it's just land, we'll build. If it's a falling down house, we'll renovate, and if it's a teeny house, we'll extend it. But WE WANT OUTSIDE SPACE!!!! I am hating living in the city.

However, the view from our bedroom window is a very impressive one - the Malverns, the cathedral. Tis lovely

DreamsInBinary · 13/09/2009 21:35

They were, Syc

I also read SVH. A lot. Good twin/naughty twin, red Spider car, sunshine and hot boys. What was not to like?! Bad writing, social stereotyping, puddle deep morality

at puddle deep morality

No one else watched my link then????

TrillianAstra · 13/09/2009 21:41

Drinking milk and trying not to get curly wurly crumbs on the laptop. Still feel not 100%, think I must be getting old. Going to bed soon.

TrillianAstra · 13/09/2009 21:42

I looked at your link Syc, but the screaming annoyed me. I want to hear the music that they're doing it in time with. Where I come from it's polite to listen quietly and then clap/cheer at the end.
