Hello.

Gosh, someone please slap me. For some reason I have woken in an arse end of a mood. I'm really f'ing moody. And cry-ee. What's going on??? I am not like this. DH has kindly taken DC's to the park before lunch so I can try and get my act together and get my game face back.

My worries:

  1. DD starting school. Not her, ME. She is climbing the walls and can't wait. She'll be fab I know it. It's just me.
  1. Finding nanny and nannyshare before I start work. This is actually going to send me to an early grave.
  1. Starting my new job. I've got a truck of work to do in prep for it and can't get my head in gear.

Someone asked how come DD is starting so late...in our area the schools all started back week of 7th. They stagger the reception entry - all the children who have been at the nursery attached to the school (my DD) are last to be introduced as they are already more than familiar with the school environment and have met their teacher, been into the big school for assembly etc and to perform little sing songs etc.

I have had to hide a f'ing annoying thread about August feckin' babies. Grrr. DD is mid - DS is end of August. I'm afraid I am of the attitude that you can make a problem by looking at it too hard. I just want to assume it will all be fine and react as and when and IF it's obviously not all fine.

I am v. ranty pants this morning, non?

Wanted to say thank you to Mitzi for that lovely post for ABW.

BitOfFun · 13/09/2009 11:39

Sycamoretreeisvile · 13/09/2009 11:40

Hello sycamore, sorry your feeling bad today, hopefully you are a little bit more welcoming and mature about rich newbies

BitOfFun · 13/09/2009 11:42

Sorry you're feeling shitty, Syc. Of course August babies turn out fine- look at us!

Syc. Keep telling yourself that in a week or two none of this will be a problem anymore.

i think quite a few of us on here are seriously rich...you are not alone..

welcome to our thread...

BitOfFun · 13/09/2009 11:44

Actually, I'm sure I read a survey that said most intellectually challenged people were born in November. Make of that what you will.

FaceLikeTheBackOfaBus · 13/09/2009 11:44

Oh poor Syc, i was the same when my little ones first started at boarding school
