I have a question for you. Bear in mind that I have not had proper periods for any length of time for over 7 years now as I have got pregnant 12-15 months after each baby was born every time. No more babies now.

Now, I want to know, if you retain water just before your period, making it look like you're not losing much weight, at what point is it all gone and you notice the weight gone?

Last time I lost nothing for a week or two, then got my period, and lost a whole load of weight in one go after it finished.

I've not been losing anything again for a couple of weeks, had lost 1.5lb when I weighed myself today, but have just started my period this evening. Am I likely to see a bigger weight-loss at the end of next week?

Am I over-thinking this?

I am just hoping that I will see a good couple of pounds off at my next weigh-in, and don't know what to expect.

FB - I think the water retention is diff for everyone, but normally at about day 4 of my AF I am weighing back to normal.
