I think this is thread 10. We are an unruly bunch of MNetters trying to shed a lot a little or just some pounds through a variety of methods. Others just trying to eat healthily.

Newcomers most definitely welcome, just be advised the post rate is insane so be sure to check in regularly!

Our hostess Ms Diamond will be along soon I'm sure.

missed the BB stuff. got bored about series 2 and found better other stuff crap to watch. Me, i'm hiding out on dave as its safe when ds walks in. I am waiting to watch house of swords or something along those lines that i got out on rental at mo. Trying to make most of my free months unlimited viewing getting a fairly good turn about and it has saved me endless hours of catch the pigeon (ds loved the dastardly/muttly flying machines thing we rented but 2 1/2 hrs was a bit much.)

vt up to mischief?

LovingTheRain · 02/08/2009 21:50

I'm not watching VinegarTits! I enjoyed the first few series but haven't been able to get into the ones over recent years.

Sycamoretreeisvile · 02/08/2009 21:51

This will be BB's last year.

DEM - the DS's always have DAVE on - watching reruns of Top Gear. They know each episode, word for word!

Marthasmama · 02/08/2009 21:51

I'd rather eat my own head than watch Big Brother. So, no, not watching BB.

bellavita · 02/08/2009 21:52

Bloody 'ell Syc - you is Davina

Sycamoretreeisvile - I thought that might be the case. This series doesn't seem to have any 'oomph' behind it. I watched a few but found the people rather dull & boring.

My fav series was the one with the welsh lad Glyn, he was so sweet bless him and learned to cook etc over the summer he was there

harleyd · 02/08/2009 21:53

my tv's never on unless the kids are watching it

I've not done an initiation.... [very bored]

Sycamoretreeisvile · 02/08/2009 21:53

Welcome to TummyTickler too.

Lady, you need to go to Boots and get yourself weighed

If you're doing FF or WW or SW or whatever you need to know your start weight so you know what calories per day you are allowed.

Also, I think it is the best motivator to know that you have actually lost weight each week. Sometimes you feel like you haven't and you have.

Conversely, you also need to keep an eye on those weeks you kid yourself you're doing ok but you're just treading water.
