For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Oh, I wish we could come to Franny's class, really do.

We sing and dance all bloody week anyway, don't know why I bother if it's a stress. Well, because he enjoys it thats why. He loves the singing and when we got his toy out of the bag he said hooray and I thought, no, it's not time for toys to come out we are leaving in 'disgrace'.

Onwards and upwards anyway.

I think that pasta may have been off. I feel a little queer.

These mums do not chat during the seasonal song or the appearance of Floppity Bunny. Perish the thought.

FrannyandZooey · 04/03/2009 19:43

i have mucked it up and upset people though, you can't get it right all of the time
i don't think i have upset people about not sitting down, though - it does help that i usually have a child of the appropriate age WITH ME at the class, so it's hard to forget that toddlers usually like to run around and be noisy, when your own toddler is running around and being noisy

Oh Guad,I'd buried the memory but when ds1 was a toddler we got into a very 'Prestigious' toddler group with a Waiting List.
After 4 sessions, I was forced to leave in disgrace with ds, because for the last 20 minutes, all toys were tidied away and they had to sit in a circle and do singing. Wellds1 was very extrovert and loud and he liked to stand in themiddle of the circle and sing and clap and dance.
It was Not Allowed....

pointydog · 04/03/2009 19:48

what is 100's book?

FrannyandZooey · 04/03/2009 19:53

Of course avi, we do have far too many clothes in the little sizes Good luck with the course.

Oh and crocs - I tried on SILs pair of flip flop crocs when I was quite pg with dd. I felt generally a bit clumpy and large but oh the crocs felt like heaven on my fat sweaty feet (I haven't got a pair though!)

ahundredtimes · 04/03/2009 20:04

Yes Fra! We had to go in our pyjamas. And I went with a friend and we all went on the tube in pjs (well I didn't actually but don't worry about that) and when we got there, all these children were changing into PJs. We were most surprised.

lol @ Avi's 'indeed Pointy'. Indeed Pointy - tomorrow.

Don't give anything away though Franny - mine has been dispatched, but has not arrived yet.

Children are being hysterical. Not in a good way, in a shrill giggling / crying / shouting about poopoo heads way. They're in bed, but the giggling is getting louder and harder to ignore.

pointydog · 04/03/2009 20:08

so is it a secret? For privacy issues?

ahundredtimes · 04/03/2009 20:10

Well I don't know Pointy. Because are there privacy issues? This is the question. I don't know if there are, I can't work it out.

FrannyandZooey · 04/03/2009 20:11

oh yes! i have in fact READ IT, but i don't want to say anything about it, because it will spoil it for boco
