obviously it isn;t that normal, but I have a mirena coil in now, which I hve never had befoer with smears, and so I wondered if ti was normal to have pain the day after once you have a coil.

am hoping I make sanes.....am hurting lots right now.

my belly is swollen too. i look about 6mths pregnat. and I feel sick it hurts so much.

will tabs help and will it settle, or do I need checking out?

I would give her a ring if she is available now and just let her know about the shoulder pain if I were you...

psychomum5 · 26/02/2009 12:21

docs are closed until 2pm now.

I am eating something right now to have with my meds I am on. I cannot get hold of anyone to help with the later school run. the mum wh I share with has ill children herself today so she isn;t even u there. ho hum.

will see how i cope with that, and then call docs after if no imporvement. i some way, if the driving makes it worse (like earlier), then I will know it needs looking into more IYGWIM.

Tiggiwinkle · 26/02/2009 12:30

Take care with the driving psycho.

Sods law that here is no-one to help out when you feel so rough...

Tiggiwinkle · 26/02/2009 12:31

psychomum5 · 26/02/2009 12:33

Tiggiwinkle · 26/02/2009 12:36

No probs. Hope you get some rest

blinks · 26/02/2009 13:39

do you have endo on your cervix?

i have UTIs quite regularly and it doesn't sound right... sounds more endo-ish.

loopylou6 · 26/02/2009 14:07

um, i dont wanna be a scare mongerer, but can coils perforate the womb?

psychomum5 · 26/02/2009 15:36

well, never manaed to sleep. a friend turned up with a new mattress for DS2 (his is old and smelly now thru many sick and wee accidents), and then stayed and had a coffee, plus did a load of washing for me. she thinks it is coil and endo related and said to go back as the pain is bad still.

I did the school run but rang the schools to ask them to get the children to come out to the car, save me walking. now feeling much worse and the pain is coming in waves every few mins or so.

DH isn;t able to get home, and i have the children to sort out so am right now going to do that and see how it pans out.

OP posts:
psychomum5 · 26/02/2009 15:38

oh, and blinks......when I had my endo lasered off, they said it was all round everywhere. they did say I had a cervical erosion that they treated, but didn;t mention endo in that particular spot tho.

Holy cow psycho, how are you doing now??

I agree you should get the shoulder pain checked out - that doesn't sound right at all. Deep abdominal pain can refer to the shoulder, though - anyway - back to docs for you!!

xxx

Tiggiwinkle · 26/02/2009 15:54

Get back to the doctors asap psycho. When will your dh be home?

psychomum5 · 26/02/2009 15:58

jacksmama, hello..not seen you in ages!!!

feel crap TBH. shoulder pain isn;t constant, but is there when the tummy pain is (tis like ontractions actually, the wavey pain).

MIL has just rung and is coming round. I tired to get her ealrier and she was out, so she rang back and i cried.

OP posts:
psychomum5 · 26/02/2009 15:59

tiggi, DH isnt able to get home yet. MIL is on her way tho now.

OP posts:
Tiggiwinkle · 26/02/2009 16:03

Thank goodness for that! Are you going to GPs or a and e?

psychomum5 · 26/02/2009 16:06

no idea TBH tigi. not sure I will be able to et into docs now, and of course the children all have rehearsals and stuff oin on, plus cubs and scouts, so i need to get them organised for those too.

MIL will know what to do, she is lovely, she looks after me

Ooh psycho - reading through your thread I think you should go to A&E - if there's any question of the coil having moved, or any damage done, then a doc isn't going to be able to see what's going on if you need a scan. Hoping you feel better soon...

Jacksmama · 26/02/2009 16:10

I agree psycho, go to A&E. The kids can miss one day of their stuff. I know, easier said for me than done for you, but how much more will they miss if you should turn out to have a real complication?
(((HUGS)))

GO, woman!!

Tiggiwinkle · 26/02/2009 16:12

You really need to put yourself first at the moment psycho-I think you need to get yourself sorted and perhaps the children miss their stuff tonight.

Sorry for sounding bossy-just worried about you!

Flightattendant27 · 26/02/2009 16:13

Oh poor thing, that sounds sore

Hope it is Ok soon, thinking of you xxxxx

BennyAndJoon · 26/02/2009 16:15

I don't mind sounding bossy

OI - GET YOURSELF SORTED - the kids missing one night won't matter!

So there

psychomum5 · 26/02/2009 16:16

too late for teh missin stuff....MIL is taking the girls to dance and then coming back. three out of the way at least, and another friend will bring them home if needs.

DH says he will be home at half five

MIL will be back shortly, and then I guess we sort me out. I am in pain, but right now I am ok to hang on to be sorted. I am agreeing with A&E tho, I think

OP posts:
BennyAndJoon · 26/02/2009 16:26

Good

A&E does sound best, you would probably be referred there anyway for scan.

PerArduaAdNauseum · 26/02/2009 16:40

But come back and post later so we don't all worry about you (bit too much of that going on lately)

Tiggiwinkle · 26/02/2009 16:42

Yes-good luck and let us know when you come back!

Hope it's nothing serious and you get it sorted quickly.
