For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Hello, just back - took ages, but is all fine, it's not CF, she was within normal range. Few other things to rule out and will get results of those in a few weeks, but very relieved.

i like strada
a LOT
the manager is completely divine for a start

anyway
been at soft play - a different one
i seem to spend a lot of time in soft play these days i know
it is an attempt at getting lots of people to play with for ds1

ds2's bottom is so awful
i just feel tense about it all the time
his eczema is coming back also

he's such a love
it is hard to relax and enjoy him - i feel so anxious

Anyhoo - Yay! Boco, thank for that xxx

Franny love, I'm so sorry this is affecting you so hard. Will ask my hippy friend how she coped with her dd's excema.

Mushroom soup
Figs
Cunting peach and cunting nectarine.

Lettuce, peppers, cucumber, onions, tomatoes, sweetcorn, mushrooms, spinach for dinner.

FrayedKnot · 24/02/2009 17:15

Brilliant news Boco!

Edgy man-pats for Franny

Good luck for hard chair sitting, Guad

Good luck to Avi for starting your course

Happy birthday to LR for tomorrow!

Erm...

Blueberries
Bowl of fruit salad (melon, kiwi, pinapple)
Salad filled pitta

Supper is pancakes witha choice of blueberries, strawberries, ornages, lemons, or chocolate spread.

I then have to go to yoga

I will lie like a beached whale on my mat and float my arms about weakly.

Tatties · 24/02/2009 17:27

Boco, really pleased things are fine

Franny sorry to hear ds2's bottom no better Things like this really do get to you - you feel like you can never totally relax as there is always this niggling worry.

TooT dd2 could be nothing other than extremely cute! I like short hair on girls.
