Hi misdee, you are coping well. Saw a thread on heartline, and knew straight away it was you, been scanning your threads, just to make sure, was gutted when I heard it was cancelled. If there is anything I can do, just ask, I've not met you, but you have a place in my heart. My prayers are with your family all the way.

misdee · 06/04/2005 09:37

was it an old message on heartline? i havent been on there for over a year. have been sticking close to the DCM board for support on heart problems, as they are all in the same boat. One member has just had a transplant and is doing well. In fact i sent him to that group asd he emailed me through mumsnet.

Hi survivour - not seen you on Heartline recently, hope you're OK?

Will Peter be out for the weekend misdee?

misdee · 06/04/2005 09:40

no idea. will phone later and hopefully will have some news.

It was from a mum of 3 boys with DCM misdee. She posts on Heartline, she's a bloody marvel TBH.

misdee · 06/04/2005 09:45

is that Sheran?

OP posts:
misdee · 06/04/2005 09:47

i've found it. she is amazing. her 3 boys and her husband are all affected. i think its harder when little ones are involved.

OP posts:
survivour · 06/04/2005 09:54

Yes misdee it was sheran, she is an inspiration isn't she? I only go on Heartline when I'm feeling very low, same on here, when I see people less fortunate than me, it makes me feel less sorry for myself... And the support is wonderful on both sites. Still praying for you.

Potty1 · 06/04/2005 09:55

Thats her misdee - she's brilliant, she finds the time to offer so much support to everyone despite what must be huge daily worries for her.

collision · 07/04/2005 22:24

JanH · 13/06/2006 22:58

OMG misdee, thought it had happened now.

I want it to too - wish it would.

edam · 13/06/2006 23:00

Oh, Misdee, am so sorry you are still waiting.

Beetle73 · 13/06/2006 23:01

Oh no. I saw the title and thought something good had happened. Keeping fingers crossed for you.

misdee · 13/06/2006 23:03

io wish it was happening again now. i wanted the link to post on my blog, as there is no way i can remember all the feelings of the 1st call and how it was. I just read through this thread and sobbed again. If bumping this gets a few more people onto the register then it'll all be good. You guys were there so much for me with the calls, so thank you all.

xx

catj · 13/06/2006 23:18

Just read the whole thread (hadn't found MN back then). Hope that call comes soon. If it's any consolation it's prompted me into registering. (Blush for not doing it before)

misdee · 13/06/2006 23:23

OP posts:
catj · 13/06/2006 23:30

She was transferred to our local hospital this morning as the next step before home. (More for my benefit than hers Grin) Feeling very nervous at the idea but so pleased that we've got this far.

misdee · 13/06/2006 23:32
