bossykate · 30/03/2005 21:38

this is a public board and i'm entitled to my 2c just as you are. as to sense of humour failure, killing the light heartedness - er, tough.

juicychops · 30/03/2005 21:39

what kind of things not kids related do you like discussing BK?

OP posts:
dropinthe · 30/03/2005 21:40

bossykate · 30/03/2005 21:40

dropinthe, piles, a subject close to your... heart? not an issue for me.

Lonelymum · 30/03/2005 21:41

dropinthe! I go away for a few days and when I come back I find you embroiled in this sort of discussion! Shame on you girl!

dropinthe · 30/03/2005 21:41

juicychops · 30/03/2005 21:43

bossykate · 30/03/2005 21:44

juicychops, thanks for your post. i like discussing a lot of things unrelated to kids. to name a few - books, films, travel, clothes, domestic appliances (), fair trade and eco issues, food (grown up - sorry for this but there is a difference in our house!), the economy, current affairs, community activism, politics....

SeaShells · 30/03/2005 21:44

Piles, doughnuts, girth or length????

This is a very confusing thread!

girth or length - Girth
doughnuts - Jam
Piles - No never

piffle · 30/03/2005 21:45

If you don't like it don't post on it
gawd!!
vote with your feet.
Girth btw
And I have had piles (not from his girth) is this AT aLL RelEVANt????

dropinthe · 30/03/2005 21:45

I had four of the biggest mammas youve ever seen and who the hell invented................................................."ANUSOL"...................THERES A HELATH THREAD FOR YOU!!!

Lonelymum · 30/03/2005 21:45

Yeah alive and kicking at the moment. I just checked that thread too, and a few others I was on. Nice to see no-one missed me! Anyway, what is this thread all about?

dropinthe · 30/03/2005 21:47

l/M-I did miss you but knew you were away!!Get with the flow, girth or width or jam or custard?

bossykate · 30/03/2005 21:47

piffle, i don't think you really mean that. knowing you from your mumsnet posts i think if you didn't like something you would post on it. that is every mnetters right - this is a public board with a fair degree of free speech, which includes allowing people like me to rain on the length v. girth parade. there it is.

Lonelymum · 30/03/2005 21:49

Length or girth? Preferably neither! !!!!!!

Jam or custard? Definitely jam.

Piles? Never had 'em despite four pregnancies and forever sittin on radiators in my youth.

Why is this in health?

SeaShells · 30/03/2005 21:50

Who said that just cos we are mums, we aren't allowed to talk about anything that isn't baby related?

Sorry but if thats all I discussed I'd go loopy!

I'm a woman, not just a mum!

dropinthe · 30/03/2005 21:50

Talk to the hand-l/m!!!

Merlin · 30/03/2005 21:50

dropinthe - yep about 10 days to go! Oh, just thought - how did I get pregnant....? Yes it was sex!!!!!!!

My choice would be girth - just not at the moment thanks!!!!

juicychops · 30/03/2005 21:50

You wont ruid our fun BK. its girth and jam all the way!! (not together though... of course?)

OP posts:
wobblyknicks · 30/03/2005 21:51

Length, apple filling and never had piles.

There has to be a limit to what you aren't interested in and so don't post on. Like the discussions about 4x4's, wallpaper and appliances bore me senseless, so I don't post and I don't look, once I've realised.

Lonelymum · 30/03/2005 21:51

Have you lot just moved across from the bar? There is a distinct drunken air about this thread!

juicychops · 30/03/2005 21:53

i wish!

OP posts:
dropinthe · 30/03/2005 21:54

No,we just have our "open minds, open hearts" heads on and I agree -I dont want to know whether someone should cater my kids party or not.....
