For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

100 - I have had covos with Dh ablong those lines...
But I have actually said I'd like several husbands simultaneously...for differnt roles, you know? One who liked shopping say, and one who could do a spot of DIY....

DH is cool with it, he knows I'm only marking time with him until Mr Depp comes to his senses.

DasherDancerPrancerFMVixen · 21/12/2008 20:47

I shall insist on cards saying F at Forty

TooTickyDoves · 21/12/2008 20:47

Actually SB, there are recipes in the uncheese book. Did you get hold of it?

ahundredtimes · 21/12/2008 20:48

Oh no shopping and no DIY. I want lemon groves and fishermen with nets, and a palazzo in a piazza for the next stage. It's like wanting stages, new stages - demonstrated by husbands. I might be Elizabeth Taylor in disguise. Now there's a thought.

FrayedKnot · 21/12/2008 20:48

Yes please, TooT!

TooTickyDoves · 21/12/2008 20:49

But then, isn't the husband merely a substitute for oneself doing things? Or is the husband merely a mascot?

TooTickyDoves · 21/12/2008 20:51

Yes please what? Confused

FrayedKnot · 21/12/2008 20:52

I'm to say my several simultaneous fantasy husbands wouldn;t be engaged for their DIY skills, FMV

TooTickyDoves · 21/12/2008 20:52

Too many merelys

ahundredtimes · 21/12/2008 20:52

He is a way of marking stages TooT, that's all. More interesting and entertaining than a bag or a coat - the Green Coat Years. Also you will notice that my mid-life crisis husbands are all European, so there's the benefit of foreign travel too.

FrayedKnot · 21/12/2008 20:52

The meet up!

DasherDancerPrancerFMVixen · 21/12/2008 20:54

sadly, until I change my social circle, my vision is more realistic for me, 100...

ahundredtimes · 21/12/2008 20:55

I can't meet up. I am scheduled to marry Isaac in NYC then, and to live for about 2 years in Manhattan. It all goes wrong - his button shirts! his pressed trousers! his attitude! - but was a good stage.

Right. Am going to herd them upstairs. love to all.

DasherDancerPrancerFMVixen · 21/12/2008 20:56

yes but FK, DH can fullfill, erm, most of my needs. But he hates shopping and is utterly utterly crap at DIY or even emptying bins.

TooTickyDoves · 21/12/2008 20:57

Of course!

Does that mean I am organising it? Franny is bossier better at organising things.

Love you all.

Off to bed with dcs, Howl and Hobbit.

xxxxxxxxxx

FrannyandZooey · 21/12/2008 22:15

DS has gone to bed. It's not even 5pm yet

Paneer is very much like tofu anyway Toot, so I'd use that in future I think. Although it was quiet exciting to make our own cheese. I did find the Uncheese cookbook but I tried one recipe and it was really bad and it put me off.

Is anyone having problems with cunting bananas?

TinyWhiteFeather · 22/12/2008 00:53

Toot, if we both stop eating can I get in the cupboard with you and sleep until about 5th of January when it is all over?

Don't even know what the mouldy thread is about. Kind of thing I probably avoid in RL, so best stay well away.
But apparently I have (inability to cope with) confrontation issues. [wimp emoticon].

Making cheese sounds like fun, there isn't room to swing an amoeba in our kitchen, let alone a cat, so attempting things like that is doubly challenging. We have a lot of one pot meals.

I don't talk about 'husband/s'.

We are having Beef for chrismas dinner (whether I like it or not). Don't talk about in-laws either. Every year I get asked what I want to do, Say I don't mind, will go along with the flow. Get pressured into making a suggestion which is then completely ignored or they do the exactly the opposite.

I am 40 next year and would like to get in a cupboard and sleep through that as well.

Don't have an age problem but would be sick if people make a fuss.

Looks suspiciously like a ranting post...checks diary for cycle. Oh goody I am going to be hormonal as well as stressed over christmas.

Tempted to do ironing.......or paint.

Oh dear, blah, blah, blah, just ignore me.....

SuperBunny · 22/12/2008 00:57

You okay, mou?

TinyWhiteFeather · 22/12/2008 01:09

Yeah, OK SB.

self esteems gone all wanky.

Are you OK?

SuperBunny · 22/12/2008 01:29

Yeah, am ok. Sort of. Gone a bit funny. Need to sort myself out. Hope you are ok & get some sleep soon.

TinyWhiteFeather · 22/12/2008 01:40

E-mail me if you need to SB.....
Listening to coldplay's 'fix you'. Makes me cry and then feel better .

Hugs SB.....xx

SuperBunny · 22/12/2008 03:47

Thanks, feather. I don't know what to call you now. I still want to say mou. Hope you got some sleep.
