For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

TooTicky · 16/12/2008 12:35

TooTicky · 16/12/2008 12:37

Oh hello LR

Hatstyles are so individual though, aren't they.

Have you seen the river in M town? It has taken over the little nature reserve and is nearly in Sainsburys car park

littlerach · 16/12/2008 12:41

No, really?

My friend lives in yarnbrook and she was flooded quite badly.

But my friend in Rowde had none, despite news reports saying they were.

Purse then

FrannyandZooey · 16/12/2008 12:55

and good for you for stating your needs

SuperBunny · 16/12/2008 14:54

thenewme, what happened?

Crocheting something for the teacher is not at all naff. Unless it is a loo seat cover or suchlike.
I'd be happy with a purse or scarf.

Blueberries, banana

littlerach · 16/12/2008 14:56

Hello Feather.

Superbunny, I ma RH too. How starnge.

heating won't work and i ma trying ot dry washing.
Dh at pub.
I don't 6think^ we have run out of oil.

Tomatoes and chilli.

My friend is pg with her 4th.

SuperBunny · 16/12/2008 15:28

RH are the best initials, I think.

I am braising a red cabbage but I realised we have nothing to eat it with. I'll happily eat it by itself but I fear DS will not be pleased with a plate of cabbage for lunch

SuperBunny · 16/12/2008 15:30

Hope the heating fixes itself, LR

thenewme · 16/12/2008 15:49

Dh got really angry with me last night about it and it has just got a whole lot worse

Guadalupe · 16/12/2008 16:01

Did you think he wouldn't be angry if you told him, newme? It must be stressful being so close to christmas and things being hard at home. I don't know if you have dcs, in fact, I don't know anything about you at all other than this issue so feel unable to offer much advice.

Have you tried starting a thread about it? Maybe some more people in the same situation can give you some support, I know you've got in contact with one person here off board. Hope you can find peace with it anyway.

Boco · 16/12/2008 16:01

Toot, purse sounds like a lovely idea. I saw the blanket you made for Guad and it's lovely.

newme sorry things aren't going well for you, i'm not sure what's happening but hope it gets better very soon. Sorry to be a bit thick but are you a vegger who has name changed, or a shiny new vegger?

Franny - what a fright about ds2 having a fall! They're very weirdly bouncy though aren't they, babies. Dp once forgot to strap E into one of those bouncy chairs, and he picked it up to move her to another room and she slid out and landed on her head. We were shaking for ages, but she seemed fine after the initial scream.

DasherDancerPrancerFMVixen · 16/12/2008 16:03

SB and LR - my pre-marriage initals were RH too !

Guadalupe · 16/12/2008 16:03

Yes, it's awful when they fall. Ds fell off the bed once and banged his head on the cabinet, I felt shit about it. I felt pretty shit when he fell on to the coal bucket and cracked his head open the other day too! I think it will scar.

SuperBunny · 16/12/2008 16:13

Ooo FMF, another RH, hooray!

TNM, I don't want to sound harsh but I don't think it is surprising that he is upset. I'm not sure exactly what has happened but I hope you can work this out.

My DS once fell out of his carseat onto the car park I felt awful. Car wasn't moving, obviously, I just plopped him in his seat and before I could do the buckles up, he leaned forward and rolled out.

thenewme · 16/12/2008 16:16

I'm a new vegger.

I am hurting my DH by having feelings for my first love and he has emailed me.

DasherDancerPrancerFMVixen · 16/12/2008 16:25

I don't think there is a new parent in the land who hasn't felt responsible for a baby falling, dropping, rolling in an unfortunate manner...

Boco · 16/12/2008 16:32

So do you think the ex boyfriend has feelings for you too? do you ever see him? Does he live far away? Is it kind of fantasy nostalgia feelings or serious get together feelings?

Guadalupe · 16/12/2008 16:32

True! There's always something we feel guilty about.

Guadalupe · 16/12/2008 16:33

x-posts, that was for fmv

DasherDancerPrancerFMVixen · 16/12/2008 16:40

oh not you Guad, you're not off the hook, you should feel guilty. Scarred, you say??? You BAD!

thenewme · 16/12/2008 16:59

He told me he loved me today completely out of the blue.

He lives miles away and I haven't seen him for 15 years. Both tried to find each other.

Not fantasy nostalgia, I thought it would be and it wasn't.
