For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

My sis and i had head boppers (as we called them).

We visited a zoo/aquarium one day and she leant right over the crocodile enclousre and one fell off right into the pit. The crocodile started to eat it so mum and dad dragged us off hsrpish

MrsC/Guad, Aldeburgh was lovely. Southwold was nice too, though we spent a small fortune in the arcades

We loved Walberswick too, and had a fab meal in The Anchor.

littlerach, poor crocodile. And your poor parents

FK, what a crappy day

Guadalupe · 22/10/2008 20:27

Really, littlerach, what was it, a star, fuzzy ball or flashing heart? I wonder if the crocodile pooed it out, that would confuse the keepers.

I lost a red button of a coat once in the monkey enclosure. I pretended I was very concerned for them choking on it and fetched a person straightaway but really I knew I couldn't replace that button.

Fk - Bastards! I reckon your ipod will be handed in to make up for it.

I am having cauliflower cheese made with jaw-achingly strong chedder, parmesan and binham blue with loads of mustard and a tomato salad. It's very nice.

Glad Aldeburgh was fun. Did you go crabbing?

FK and Boco, sorry for crap day and scary driving incident. Guad, I'm sure it will be OK with the house. I was at a good friend's this afternoon - they have just had an offer accepted on a house and she is quietly terrified (bear in mind this is Germany and almost everyone rents - plus she was always utterly convinced she was never going to sucumb to Buying Property). I made comforting noises while being very jealous indeed that she is going to have a huge garden.

Just back from my gymnastics/power-yoga group. It was strenuous bordering on painful but my goodness, the high afterwards Her instructions are always very detailed and so it requires a lot of concentration and focusing, which is also good. It is so strange concentrating for a whole 1.5 hours on me and my body. Need a bath but have had to make do with a shower as ds2 needed me.

Kindergarten mum rang while we were out and left a message asking if she could take ds1 back to hers after kindergarten tomorrow or Fri to play. I do like her and ds1 gets on very well with her dd but I don't know her very well yet and am quite that she thinks it would be appropriate for us to let her take ds1 (quite apart from the fact that he wouldn't go by himself). AIBU? dh rang her back and said ds1 wouldn't go on his own and she said of course I could come with him, so I think we'll do that.
