For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

ooooh avi. Pottery envy here too. Envy generally, in fact, of all these craftily gifted veggers. I stretch to making play tills out of cardboard boxes and painting cheap Ikea furniture with alphabets and organic supermarket logos. And writing possibly dodgy poetry. Which isn't craft, really.

Lovely pics, Franny.

Hello Greeny.

TigerFeet · 23/08/2008 08:52

Fab pics Franny. Impressive carrot. Gorgeous boys

Inlaws here so only breezing through. I ought to be sociable really and stop hiding on t'internet and probably being excessively rude.

I have eaten a lot of pineapple.

I too am specacularly uncrafty

BabiesEverywhere · 23/08/2008 10:16

Love your picture Franny

Good luck to all the campers (I hate living under canvas, all those bugs and spiders two inches from your nose..yuck)

I love crafts or rather trying to do crafty things. I'm no good at it but spend loads of spare time, tatting, sewing, making cards/scrapping, chain maille etc etc. Or rather I did do before the kids came along.

FrannyandZooey · 23/08/2008 13:40

sore nipples and pottery and nut roast

i was going to say that sore nipples were a distant memory but not totally true...dd2 was my only successful breastfeeder and she was like a shotputter in buiold with the muwscles well developed including whatever ones are required to clamp onto nipples...was reminded of this recently when i was asked about the scar under my nipple which i havent thought about for years and i do now remember that it was a sort of boer war open wound for a few months back in the day

i had an onterest in farting around with clay

i like the glazes

but i also did some work with clay slip on a wire frame and cloth eg i had a coat that belonged to ds when he was about three..wool coat double breasted...and i experimented with dipping it in slip and then firing to produce a sort of white ghost object effect

it was rathe rlovely

sadly i threw it out in some mad decluttering purge which i revret as it was quite beautiful and it hink rather good

i have a coat of dd1s that i intended to do the same with...ds coat was the experiment reewally but i have never had access to a kiln and stuff since

and i havent had nut roast for ages not since i stopped being a vegetarian prbabl;y frannys dinner sounds delicious

TooTicky · 23/08/2008 14:29

Zippi
When do you find out about the job? [impatient]
The nipple scar is scary. You are a brave woman!!

I am very sluggish today. I gave the dcs vegetarian croque monsieurs for lunch. Made with white bread. Organic though.

Have started sewing dd2's cardi together. It is going to be huuuuge! Oops. I didn't actually do measurements but it seemed silly to make the 2-3 when she is actually 3, so I've done the 3-4. It will probably fit ds2. Ah well.

One small tomato and a few raisins.

TooTicky · 23/08/2008 14:31

Ds1 is suffering with his teeth. He has an awful lot of them. His baby ones don't seem to want to fall out but the big ones keep growing. He has an appt with a Dental Surgeon soon. Gulp. Is that actually as scary as it sounds?

zippitippitoes · 23/08/2008 14:41

the scar is white

it is like those ones you get when someone slashes you with a knife or razor balde

i dont know about the job the closing date was thursday so if i dont hear by next thursday i reckon another deadun

i realy dont know what the nt are like

hard to get jobs with tho im sure

ive no idea what that area is like..it doesnt look too expensive tho

TooTicky · 23/08/2008 14:44

Ooh ouch.

Oh, nt eh?

Yes, do come and live near us!!!

zippitippitoes · 23/08/2008 14:45

you mean double lots of teeth

i think it is mainly an indicator of having strong healthy teeth and gums

my kids had that

two of them had teeth taken out as did i

and braces

i think ds has a tooth mising an incisor that was never there which is the same as his dad..inherited

but meant he had more room

dd1 and dd2 also both had operations to take oout the skin between their two front teeth

they bopth had it done at the same time weirdly in hospital

two children having general anaesthetics simultaneously

TooTicky · 23/08/2008 15:04

Well, strong and healthy is all very well, but...

2 under GA at the same time?

Blimey!

zippitippitoes · 23/08/2008 15:11

think its called the frenulum

i dont know if any of you remember this from last year

By zippitippitoes on Sat 13-Oct-07 00:00:55
no idea if it was a date lol

i didn't fancy him

he was nice but geeky central

the climbing was good and he was good at letting me do it..he couldnt do much because i couldnt belay him

he had very dull clothes

good body and looked good from some angles

the end bit was slightly embarrassing

but i sent an email to bf on thurs saying are you doing anything the weekend of 10-12 oct

and sent back

pourquoi

i said well i was going to book you up

last night he came here and i said did you guess why

and he said well i didnt but then when i was driving up it occurred to me i might know

so anyway he suggested this morning that we go away to the lakes or yorks for the weekend and he takes and extra day off

so it sounds like we might make a one year anniversary

it is only from mn that i could actually look up the date lol

TooTicky · 23/08/2008 15:14

Oh yes yes, I do remember. Goodness, is it really a year??
I remember being slightly surprised that you saw him again after your write up of first date

TooTicky · 23/08/2008 15:15

Zippi, google frenulum now. I order you to.

zippitippitoes · 23/08/2008 15:19

well its not a year yet but i thought i would get in early

and it was interesting to see what he thought of qa mini celebration for it

well er i didnt really expect to go on to dating him either lol

i have rather changed my mind since!!!!!!

it is a surprising thing even to me

TooTicky · 23/08/2008 15:19

Have you done it? Two of the three pictures came as a shock I can tell you. I was desperately trying to see them as bits of mouth...

zippitippitoes · 23/08/2008 15:21

TooTicky · 23/08/2008 15:22
