For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Thanks for title link Franny x

TooTicky · 22/08/2008 20:06

What about slipping finger in, then turning it sideways so it is wider and bony?
Don't actually see how it can damage nipple [possibly thick]

FrannyandZooey · 22/08/2008 20:11

I can see what she means as in my case I had to ram it in - there is no gap to slide it into - and it did ruddy hurt

Tatties · 22/08/2008 20:32

Wow Franny what lovely photos! He is such a smiley baby isn't he! And the carrot is fantastic

TooTicky · 22/08/2008 20:36

Franny, those are beautifil photos
I particularly like ds2's smile in the second big yellow vest picture. And isn't ds1 a wonderful, proud big brother?!
And a stonk of a carrot...

Boco · 22/08/2008 21:08

Oh my goodness can't believe how big ds2 is already, he looks all grown up and composed like a proper person so quickly! Very handsome.

And ds1 has your twisty smile in that carrot picture.

Boco · 22/08/2008 21:13

Bee how as camping? I like the way veggers try to be incognito but still can't help picking a fruit or vegetable related name. Is comforting.

oh boco - camping was a roller coaster of emotions. I got there fine after my raced panic at yours, but then had to put tent up on my own in the wind and rain and it was very lopsided.

I had a most happy moment as my chlidren ran around the beach catching crabs and digging holes.

I had a most horrid moment when I woke up at 4am to terrible rain and wind and tried to work out what I would do if part of the tent blew away.

A full range of emotions.

Your house is lovely. I have house envy.

Okay - a weird thing. A man I know a bit who I have helped with some work emailed me to tell me that he has made me a pot. I feel a bit weird about it - should I?

Franny - your children are delightful - i can certainly see DS1 in DS2. He looks very sitty uppy and smiley.

How lovely to have a pot. First time I read it I thought he had made you pot which would be entirely different.

I left my phone under a pile of damp laundry so none of the buttons work other than the on/off one. Is it totally fucked or do you think it might recover?

SuperBunny · 22/08/2008 21:47

Oh Avi, you have a pottery

BBBee, your uncles work is very interesting. I like 'Norman's having a bad day'

ok, have put it on the hob so that the warmth from the pilot light can hopefully help it dry. A replacement will cost $249

Ooh Avi I didn't know you were a potter! I had a go once but found it very difficult. I am in the middle of knitting another lace scarf. It is most relaxing

Lullabyloo · 22/08/2008 22:26

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....he lives in the same little village as my Aunt & Uncle

I have pottery . Avi,have you any pics of your work? I dabbled years ago when I lived in Putney with a friend who had a pottery in her garden.

Franny..gorgeous pics
your boys are simply beautiful

TooTicky · 22/08/2008 22:31

Bee, your uncle looks like an interesting chap.

I did pottery for about a term and a half at school. I enjoyed it but for the teacher who somehow kept the entire class in a state of terrified silence. Don't know how she did it - none of the other teachers could.
I still line pastry dishes in press-moulded dish technique.
Always wanted to try the wheel [wistful]

TooTicky · 22/08/2008 22:32

Ooh Lully, what a coincidence!!
