For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

it makes me hum the Friends themetune for some reason

pinkspottywellies · 18/07/2008 21:54

I just knew Franny Hope you like it. I thought the 'I have been patient' one was a lie kind of me

OP posts:
pinkspottywellies · 18/07/2008 21:56

Yes, littlerach liked it and I don't know why Franny wasn't on the ball with a new thread today so I just did what I wanted

Crikey Avi, can that really happen? I don't remember anyone sticking their finger up my bum but tbh, I don't think I would have noticed anyway.

Guad, I think getting a tiny bit sloshed at a school BBQ is ok. Sounds like a very British evening to me.

Bbbee · 18/07/2008 21:57

hello

i have been posting on some old thread like a numpty.

WELL DONE FRANNY!

how wonderful - i am very excited for you.

boco sent me a text - it was all raher exciting - like messages being relayed to veggers all over the country - like um, charlies angels or something.

I did a jump and a squeal in a book shop. If it was a film that bit would be in the trailer interspered with people with faces lit up with the glare of computer screens and boco texting from a tent in the rain and then there would be a shot of franny doing a mooing noise.

UnderRated · 18/07/2008 21:58

I don't remember this song in Juno. I think I will have to watch it again.

berolina · 18/07/2008 22:04

evening.

I hated the stitching after my 2nd deg, I was shaking (in slight shock from the speed of the birth, I think), suddenly knackered, wanted to be alone with ds2. But I'm glad they did stitch, as I think I tore on or near my episiotomy site. The tear itself I didn't feel at all, oddly. It healed very well

veg stew with peppers, kidney beans, tomatoes, carrot, mushrooms (for lunch and dinner). Bits of apple. Pear. Blueberries. Nectarine. 10+ today.

Am drowning various sorrows in Aveda tea.

Guadalupe · 18/07/2008 22:04

yes, sorry, Beee. I tried to but for some reason your number wasn't on my phone any more so I asked Boco to do it. I think maybe I hadn't saved it but kept the text about Mr Bubbles or whatever in Edinburgh and then all my texts were wiped recently.

pinkspottywellies · 18/07/2008 22:05

It's right at the end where they sit together on a wall with a guitar and sing to each other.

You're a part time lover and a full time friend, the monkey on your back is the latest trend, I don't see what anyone can see in anyone else, but you.

As I was staff, the MW who delivered me said, 'I'll go and get Rosie to stitch you up, she's the headseamstress here and lucky for you she's on shift'.

In tottered this old dear of about 102 who did a Jolly Good Job. So I am told. Am still too scared to investigate thoroughly myself...

Was not too chuffed about the idea of the community midwives (who I spend ost of my working days with) coming in and looking either, so DH had to do the job and I shooed them out the door.

Why does it feel like your bottom is dragging on the floor afterwards?

Bbbee · 18/07/2008 22:09

lol carrot - no problem - god that seems like ages ago doesn't it.

did anyone else whoop or cry or jump?

pinkspottywellies · 18/07/2008 22:11

OB I think that's bottom dragging feeling is your pelvic floor.

BBB I did copious weeping (see my post from about 8am!)

MamaG · 18/07/2008 22:13

Night night, fruity folk

I'm off for my food on a stick and mullet fest now. I probably won't even see a vegetable this weekend. Wish me luck.

Bbbee · 19/07/2008 00:02

isn't it wonderful on 10/10 at the minute.

Franny if you pop on here at 3am for a feed I think you did a wonderful job lady - I am thrilled for you all.

Welcome to the world lovely little new boy!

TooTicky · 19/07/2008 00:06

Bbbee · 19/07/2008 00:10

thanks for pointy me in the right direction.

how are you - did you squeak?

TooTicky · 19/07/2008 00:12

I squeaked internally
Have felt all warm and smiley all day

FrayedKnot · 19/07/2008 00:45

I did silent whooping in my office and watered a bit

If at home I would have whooped very loudly

I am slightly drunk

Had large chinese meal and vodka

Went to the pub usually full of attractive young slightly alternative men but it was virtually empty

I have a feeling they will all be at a festival with Boco

Think I ought to go to bed but will maybe have one whoop before I go

LL you need to visit me on an evening when there are lots of attractive young slightly alternative men about and enjoy yourslef

I am having home made lemon curd for breakfast. My friend came up from London yesterday and brought it for me, along with flowers, a Kills cd and some brownies. Nice friend.
