For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I've emailed a long account of everything. I'm actually totally innocent. Dammit. It's my stupid brother who was winding up her stupid brother and it got back to her. But she'd know that it wasn't true I think.

FrannyandZooey · 08/07/2008 10:34

Oh I do hope it all works out

Computer fucking broken, new job too busy to be able to MN, Boss not here but sending me multi emails asking me to do things I haven't been briefed / handed over on by email AND SITA rubbish van smashed my car door off whilst I was stood in it trying to put DD in her car seat.

Top that.

Any babies yet?

TooTicky · 08/07/2008 13:58

Oh shit OB, you okay? Dd okay?

TooTicky · 08/07/2008 14:03

No no Franny, it was me saying silly things about your size then feeling guilty and apologising and then you didn't even leave me any red faces and I thought I might have offended you TOO MUCH but on reflection you probably just didn't read it anyway so anyway I love you lots and you don't look at all pregnant, even from the front.

OsmosisBanana · 08/07/2008 14:04

Think the car might be a write off.

Was not reassured as I handed over the £250 excess to the man who came to take it away by his words 'don't worry, if it's a write off, you'll get the £250 back'.

Oh good. I had rather thought a new door might be enough.

Now, off to find a place that sells 5 year old, decent condition, newly MOT'd and fixed, £250 cars.

And I have a big dent in my head.

Otherwise fine. Lucky I had just plunked DD in her seat eh? Could have been another story.

That email you sent didn't have a message Toot. I'm a muppet aren't I?!?

TooTicky · 08/07/2008 14:04

Oh no Boco, can you approach her at all?

Mouse must have been a shock. I remember a woodlouse once dropping onto my pillow from the ceiling with a small thump.

TooTicky · 08/07/2008 14:07

No no, that was dp replying to you by mistake. Ha ve sent another now.

Right, this is serious shit. Clunk on head? Get somebody to photograph it. You have to complain most stiffly. I don't understand about the excessthing - somebody else whacks your car, you lose car and ha ve to pay????????

TooTicky · 08/07/2008 14:11

Dp says you shouldn't be paying anything - shouildn't SITA foot the bill? With compensation!!!!!!!!

OsmosisBanana · 08/07/2008 14:15

I clunked my own head myself. I heard the smash of my door and whacked it on my own car in shock [sheepish] [clumsy]

DH came out all guns blazing after hearing my rather feeble girlish mewling in the road and chewed out the bin men [tasty] in spectacular fashion. He's good like that.

'What the fuck do you think you're doing trying to squeeze through a gap 4m's wide past a woman holding a baby at 40miles an hour? You didn't have the sense or manners to wait 30 seconds whilst she finished what she was doing??' and a number of other choice words which I'll refrain from using in my new role as sensible, tasteful OB.

OsmosisBanana · 08/07/2008 14:21

SITA haven't admitted liability yet - funnily enough they are quite hard to get hold of!

Also, I had to pay the excess to get the approved garage to deliver me a courtesy car pronto.

Apparently my insurance people are on the case and are gonna get the excess back, twas a mistake.

This is my 3rd car thing in a year (one was my fault, other 2 were people crashing into me). My insurance is going to be mega ££££££££££/.

I need to move somewhere with less traffic.

UnderRated · 08/07/2008 14:21

Gossip & lies is all very upsetting

OB and - hope you ar eok

TF, I think having pets like g-pigs increases the chances of having mice, sorry!

I'd like a Green, non religious burial in a churchyard but have the same problem, Fran. I'd rather not be cremated but there seem to be few options. I like the place you linked to.

Off to music now

TooTicky · 08/07/2008 14:27

I am utterly furious for you OB!!!!
And it was their fault that you banged your head!!

OsmosisBanana · 08/07/2008 14:29

DH thinks I did it on purpose so I could have a courtesy car for a month .

Power steering makes me cry with happiness.

OsmosisBanana · 08/07/2008 14:33

Thanks for the fury though!!

TigerFeet · 08/07/2008 14:38

OB what a shitter! Hope you are OK, despite the bashed head, I would definitely mention that to the insurance. I was a bit about you handing over the £250 - hopefully your insurance can get it back for you. We had two similar incidents within a month, about 18 months ago. No cash exchanged hands ever, all done via insurance. We got the same courtesy car both times. I have power steering anyway but very temperamental ancient heating so it was lovely not to be either freezing or cooking in my car for a few weeks.

TigerFeet · 08/07/2008 14:40

UR we have a cat - mice not a problem although he is getting lazy old and slow these days and doesn't bring us quite so many presents any more.

OsmosisBanana · 08/07/2008 14:49

I'm a bit of a girl when it comes to things like insurance savvy. Should just hand all such things over to DH, he never gets stitched up.

TigerFeet · 08/07/2008 14:56

Me too OB. DH in charge of such matters. Between that and eeking at mice I am deffo a 50's housewife . Without the perfectly coiffed hair though.

OsmosisBanana · 08/07/2008 14:59

I also ignore dog poo. DH territory.

FrayedKnot · 08/07/2008 16:12

OB..

Hope head and car are fixable... You must pursue it though. Did you take any pictures? Insurance companies love pictures.

this

is whewre I would be buried if I could...but being neither particulalry Christian nor a resident of the parish I would think it unlikely they would have me

It is actually on the side of a cliff with views directly west into the sunset

FrayedKnot · 08/07/2008 16:14

Oh and hello Zippi
