To everyone who supported me through cancer, thank you, my treatment is over!

I have just got back from seeing my oncologist and having been prescribed tamoxifen I am now officially an 'inactive' cancer patient.

I will have a reconstruction in the autumn but my cancer treatment is complete

A big thank you to everyone who offered support - it was much appreciated especially since I was diagnosed the week I moved to a new country where I knew no-one beyond my husband and children.

I have lots of new doctor and nurse friends now though

7 1/2 months down the line I'm ready to resume my life

Nice one Anorak and good luck going forward. How's your daughter been? I remember she was a bit offy when you first arrived there and were diagnosed.

Gosh I missed that Anorak - but glad to hear you have recovered so quickly. You used to live in my neck of the woods when you were in the UK I think (I used to be KTeePee).

How do you like where you are now? (Somewhere in the Carribbean iirc?)
