For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

i think shaking your fist will be very effective ob
also effective would be taking an umbrella and raincoat with you
it will guarantee no rain at all unless you forget them and leave them in the car

fullmoonfiend · 13/06/2008 13:35

I'm glad you know some hippies with them, I was a bit worried they were too m/c wanna-be-hippy-camper who can't hack 'proper' campervans!

stuffitllama · 13/06/2008 13:35

tigerfeet I was meh-ing hummus but now i take it back
is your spelling the correct one
there was a picture of the bongo, it's terrific with an expandable roof! love that kind of thing

OsmosisBanana · 13/06/2008 13:36

OOooohh... I love a whiff of secrecy. Now I want to know more. But I shall hold it down.

I also love that I managed to figure out what entre nous means. glad to see 10 years of French haven't entirely deserted me.

So why the move?

fullmoonfiend · 13/06/2008 13:36

tigerfeet - they are made by Mazda and are car/people carriers which can be camped in as they have pop-up roof and seats which fold out into double beds...

stuffitllama · 13/06/2008 13:37

We did campervanning for three weeks once and it was the best family holiday we have ever ever had. You're going to have such happy times in her. Has he/she/it got a name yet?

TooTicky · 13/06/2008 13:38

stuffit, atm I pick up my book, ascertain that my eyes are not actually functional, give up and go to sleep.

I am now eating sliced banana with chocolate soya custard. Potassium and protein, see?

Fmf, congrats on the Bongo. What is that top bit for? Is it just extra head room or can you sleep up there? [dunce]

stuffitllama · 13/06/2008 13:38

I'm not trying to be secretive i'd happily spill it all over large glasses of wine it's just you know, the Others.

TooTicky · 13/06/2008 13:39

OB, good luck with Cribbs. It is hell, surrounded by hell.

TooTicky · 13/06/2008 13:39
fullmoonfiend · 13/06/2008 13:40

toot, it has a trapdoor so children can be trapped sleep up there!

stuffitllama · 13/06/2008 13:40

Toot i feel for you. What about listening books. I'll send you great expectations. It's a cassette do you still ahve a player? I've got some stuff by the way.. two pairs of kids' Aigle riding boots. Anyone interested? I can post them in England in about a month's time.

stuffitllama · 13/06/2008 13:41

A trapdoor! the children must be beside themselves
lol at hell surrounded by hell

OsmosisBanana · 13/06/2008 13:41

defo hippies these bongo types. They don't shave their armpits and still carry a faint whiff of patchouli from the blanket in the back that they used to wear, that they have now given to the dog.

I only mock hippies as I am an undercover hippy.

DH is an undercover dread. He made me cut his dreads of 10 years off a couple of years ago so he wouldn't 'get noticed so much'. He made me do it when I was 5 months preg. I cried a lot.

TigerFeet · 13/06/2008 13:42

Houmous is the spelling we use. And is therefore correct . If it says houmous in Sainsbury's, it must be true.

at bongo on wheels. I would love something jsut like it but dh mutters darkly about not needing to take the kitchen sink on holiday and vetoes it.

stuffitllama · 13/06/2008 13:43

does anyone else wear pjs if they are at home. I mean, not last night's , but a nice clean pair of pj trousers with a tshirt, if they are not planning to go out and are just doing paperwork and so on.

OsmosisBanana · 13/06/2008 13:43

IT IS hell surrounded by hell. But it has to be done. I need glamorous bedlinen for new guest room SD's room.

Oooh. That was a bit mean wasn't it?

stuffitllama · 13/06/2008 13:44

fmf what about a name? is there a name, are the children naming it or can we

OsmosisBanana · 13/06/2008 13:44

I did when I owned pj's. I now have none and prefer not to roam the house nekkid. We have no insulation under the house and tis cold.

fullmoonfiend · 13/06/2008 13:44

stuffit - I bought pjs specially so I could lounge around in them. Can't lounge nekkid, can you?

UnderRated · 13/06/2008 13:45

Morning all

Horrendous night's sleep

Going to take DS downtown to play in the fountains and at the Beanthen bring him home and go back there with a friend tonight. She is due any day and I am a but uncertain about being stuck in the city with a v pregnant lady on Friday the 13th [superstitious]

stuffitllama · 13/06/2008 13:45

accepted tiger m'lud but do you do the sort of choking sound at the beginning when you say it

fullmoonfiend · 13/06/2008 13:47

no name yet, we get it next week. I am a bit sensitive about naming 'it' as the old ford tranny was called Bluebell and was a robust, no-nonsense fifties gel. I became too emotionally attatched and actually wept when they towed her away.
This is just a bongo called, er, bongo. (which I quite like, as ds1 was called bongo when he was in utero)

stuffitllama · 13/06/2008 13:47

ob do you really lounge nekkid -- if so, well done.

YES! am so glad there are other pyjama people that's just wonderful. Toot are you a pj person.
