Happy Father's Day Steve. What a family you have, that is due, in part to who you are. You and Jo have three wonderful happy children and you should be so proud of yourselves.

This is going to seem a little bit weird and i hope this doesnt upset anyone, but ive been thinking about it for a while now. You see, i had a wonderful father too, like you, he lived for his family and loved and protected me all the while he could. He passed away before he ever got to see his little grand daughter (she was 8 weeks old). I don't know what i believe about the afterlife, but i know that if my father met you he would be proud to make your aquaintance and call you his friend. He has the utmost respect for those with strong family lives. So, saying that, i wish you a peaceful passing and ask a favour - say hello to my "old man" and tell him we all love him. You can't miss him, he wont stop talking .

OJ, wishing you a lovely fathers day, continued strength and love (i hope that message was OK)

Steves breathing got a bit more erratic at 5am but then settled down a bit, he has some hard lumps on the side of his neck if we move his head at all his breathing worsens.
the kids were woken early and gave Steve a lovely bear each and a card each with a badge on, steve has all three badges on his tee shirt.
the kids are all happy the girls are watching films on there Ipod and elliot is happy reading his beanos.
after all this waiting we got a letter to say steves incontinence pads were coming tomorrow the DN said she would try and cancel but it might be too late. they would have been useful weeks ago when we ordered them.

suedonim · 08/06/2008 14:57

I'm so glad the girls had a lovely birthday and I wish Steve a Happy Father's Day. Jo, you look like just a 'normal' happy family in your photos. You must be cherishing each and every moment.

Goober, so sorry about your mother.

suedonim · 08/06/2008 15:07

lou031205 · 08/06/2008 15:27

I was listening to a song today, OJ, and one of the lines is "...strength for today, hope for tomorrow...". It made me think of you.

If there is anything we can do, please let us all know. Even if you can't do it in person, a message through NAB or Bossy would be sure to reach us!

MrsMuddle · 08/06/2008 15:27
