OJ glad to hear you have such a supportive Hospice Consultant, she sounds lovely.

Hope Steve manages to record a couple of messages for the bears today.

Tracey sounds like a fab friend, just what you need in RL. I'm sure I speak for lots of MNetters, in that I wish there was more I could do to help you practically, rather than just sending you messages.

The lovely hospice consultant has been.
she said he has got much worse since she saw him on tuesday, he has the rattly cough now which is another sign that the end is near.
she says it could be anytime now and wouldn't be surprized when it happened.
i am gutted but know that steve needs to be set free from this fecking cancer and all it brings with it.
they have upped his meds by quite a lot so he will be asleep all of the time now

OJ, I am sorry.

don't know what to say OJ ..it's one thing knowing but another being told by a medical professional. I cant begin to imagine what you are going through, the strain must be enormous ..so many times you have thought the end was approaching. Sending you a huge hug from Hertfordshire.

in some ways i want it to be over with quickly for steves sake.
i am so hoping it is not on saturday cos it is the girls birthday.

So sorry that you are all having to go through this.

i am sorry Oj that Steve will now stay asleep but i hope that in time you will think of all the steps he has taken in the last few days to let you know how much he loves you,the ring,the flowers,the cuddles.I hope these will give you some strength in the days to follow x
