You and your family are very much in my thoughts too OJ. Of course you're not ready to let Steve go, he is your loved and loving husband. It is a awful situation that you've found yourselves in. And so unfair. Love.

Oj, I don't really know what to say to you, other than you are all in my thoughts.

I had a text from OJ a little earlier, she has a mate coming around.

The really strange thing is, we have all known for the last week or so that Steve is dying, and yet I was terrified to open the text.

If I who have never met Steve feel like that, then how you feel OJ is totally and utterly understandable.

You know where I am, I will take both phones to bed tonight.

LGJ that is good she has a friend coming round.

I know what you mean, my phone tells me who the text is off before I open it and when I see it is OJ I worry.

I haven't posted before but been following your threads. Feel so sorry for you and your family, hope that you can find it in your hearts to know that Steve will be going to a place where his pain will be gone, and his suffering over. My dad died of cancer and I believe that it was kinder to let him go than witness any more of his pain, even though it was a difficult time for all of us left behind.

Can't think of anything else to say, other than I am thinking of you all....

oj I haven't posted before either but just want to send you my love and prayers for peace this evening. I pray that these last hours with your precious Steve will be ones to cherish with joy as well as pain in the coming weeks. May you and your DCs find comfort in each others arms and in sharing treasured memories together. With much love to you all xxx

Feel so bewildered that Steve seemed to rally, and OJ had a glimpse of the man he was - and then this news so soon after ...

Words just don't do it justice, OJ. You're a wonderful, brave family. When Steve has to leave, he will know how very loved he is, and that you have support around the world to help you through thenext chapter.

TMD I was thinking about that too and thinking it was lovely that they have had that time so recently if he is passing away very soon.
