Hello OJ - Another one who has never posted on your threads before but I have followed them for a while as my best friend was diagnosed with breast cancer and then brain cancer @ 18 months ago, so your threads helped me a lot.

Sadly we lost her in March and whilst it is very hard and I often cant believe she is no longer here, I do reiterate what shabster said - that I am so glad I got to tell her what she meant to me and that does give me some comfort.

I have aways been thinking of what your family is going through whilst Steve has been ill and you are all always on my mind.

Enjoy this time as much as you can. I am so glad he got to come home - something my best friend didnt get to do unfortunately.

With a lot of love and empathy, I hope Steve and yours final journey together is as positive as the rest of the experience has been.

is it just me that gets the cancer research advert on the right of the page
i will let steves mum come tonight, she can't then claim i am stopping her seeing her son, in a way i hope she does kick off tonight as the Mac nurse and consultant are coming here to see her in the morning and are going to be speaking to her about how she is dealing with things.
SW has emailed me and said she has it on file 4 times that steve has said he wants to be here with me she also has it on file that his MIL said twice that steve wants to be here but only to be with his kids.
