Ok so I’ve been having symptoms for years now and been tested for all kinds of things via bloods, stool and urine samples. The only thing that came back positive was low vitD which I’ve been taking daily for months and still don’t feel any better. I’ve got a tugging type sensation in my lower tummy either side of my hips as well as the following symptoms; Headache
Nausea
Severe back/ hip pain
Rash on face & under breast & chest & arm, back of knees on hips and eyes
Bowl issues
Dry sore bloodshot eyes with rash on eyelids
Phlegm
Depression
Anxiety
Fast/ irregular heartbeat
heavy, irregular periods 2 x per month
Pain under right side ribs
Heavy legs
Mouth ulcers
Bruise easily
Dry nose with scabs
Dry sore lips
Random body twitches
Toenails peeling off
Brittle fingernails
Dry hair
Twitch under right eye
Acotites- swollen tummy
Fatigue
Aching joints
I’m at my whits end! The fatigue is the worst. I’ve had to give up work. I wake up exhausted and I’m struggling to carry out daily tasks. Even climbing the stairs hurts! I’ve asked for a gyno referral but apart from that I think they have ruled out everything else. I’m 37 so poss peri menapause but the test they did came back negative for that too! Does anyone else have these symptoms and what was your diagnosis? Thanks

@BexAubs20 if you had ascites you would have a coexisting serious condition and you wouldn’t be here saying your GP isn’t listening to you

I told you your self diagnosis of ascites upset me because it was clear you didn’t understand how serious and how horrible it is. You told me if I was that easily upset I should get a life.

If it’s two months since you’ve been seen you definitely do not have ascites because by now you would be begging for help from the NHS. As I did in December last year.

Stop being so angry and defensive and you might find you get somewhere.

Now now don’t lie! What I actually said was if someone listing a symptom gets you that upset then you need help! I’ve said it probably it that. I’ve apologised. I’ve explained I have a learning difficulty. I’ve stated several times that I hadn’t looked into it that far. Why do you continue to berate me? I have been begging for help. That’s why I’m posting here. I haven’t asked for diagnosis I’ve asked what peoples diagnosis were for themselves. You said you had ovarian cancer. My symptoms are the same as you listed. Instead of offering advice you have told me I definitely don’t have a serious medical condition which you can not possibly know. I hope to god I don’t but if I do I will be straight back here to tell you about it you can bet on that! Now please please please if you are trigged like you say and have no helpful advice to give kindly do one!!

I used to be a GP and reading this makes me glad I am now out of it!

BexAubs20 · 29/03/2025 18:08

Why? Because you have to work out what is wrong with a sick person and you know ACTUALLY DO YOUR JOB that we PAY YOU TO DO @LakesDad

That’s what I’m thinking. I mentioned this to the doctor last time and he said “yes all your symptoms could be explained by fibromyalgia and the fact we have ruled most things out would indicate this, but most symptoms could also be explained by low vitD” it was borderline anyway not even low but he wanted me to wait 6-8wks of taking the vit D before giving a diagnosis. He also said “you won’t gain anything from a diagnosis of fibromyalgia as there is no treatment”

I have fibromyalgia

Ask for referal to NHS rhuematologist

Or pay 250 gbp 4 a private 1 - Its faster.

Do look on NHS app & find your feretin number please

Also your b12

As a fibro patient - life is a bit easier 4 me when my b12 , feretin and fibro are all okay...

Also nhs have a pacing program

Frenchtoastie · 29/03/2025 18:10

This is 100% stress
it’s incredible what an impact it has on the body.
try going on an unprocessed diet - only fresh fruit, veg, meat homemade alongside digital detox no social media or news for 1 month and see how you feel.

OhcantthInkofaname · 29/03/2025 18:12

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome - fibromyalgia.

What do you do over the weekends with your children OP? Do you have a partner? It sounds as though you’re practically bed bound?

SJmumofamonkey · 29/03/2025 18:13

I have a long list of random symptoms which I suspect are long covid/MCAS. Water eyes, rashes on eyes and mouth, joint pain etc. My GP has me on Fexofenadine 2 x a day every day. You can get it over the counter to try it. It's helped loads and does no harm, but we still don't know what's up. Also try quercetin (its a supplement that helps modulate the immune system if its something autoimmune, its also anti inflammatory and anti-aging, win win!)

Familysquabbles23 · 29/03/2025 18:13

Sorry don't have time to read full thread, but Kidney function OK?
I get lots of sim random symptoms when my kidney function gets funky.

They are all on my NHS app. I take spartone iron water with added vit C, 1 x multivitamin gummy and 1 x vit D & k2

Not everyones body absorbs the spa tone water - mine doesn't
Are u having DAily vit c ?

Beautifulweeds · 29/03/2025 18:14

Sounds the same as a friend who has long covid. Hope you can get help my lovely. Xx

How many times have you been to the GP since your symptoms started?

I suspect he meant because of your rudeness. Stop hiding behind your learning difficulty, it doesn't give you a pass to be rude.

Rhuematologist can test for lupus etc and stuff - connective tissue clinic

BlueFlowers5 · 29/03/2025 18:18

Kidney problems? Rash and two periods a month may indicate.

You’re not actually paying for it anymore as you’re not working?

Spinmerightroundbaby · 29/03/2025 18:20

Thisissuss · 28/03/2025 09:20

Have you also seen the blood test results? My GP failed to notice low B12, Vit D, Folate and Ferritin because they were all on the line - the boundaries are subjective. I would see what is obviously low and get injections - I had a vit D injection and it made quite a big difference and you can pay for B12 at some pharmacies.

This. Ask for a copy of your blood test results and Google. I’ve also found ‘borderline’ results which would lead to poor health but wouldn’t be picked up by a GP. They have an arbitrary line they draw and if you are borderline, they won’t tell you. If you’re borderline you could still feel really crummy. B12 is a common one where the level where medical intervention is required is actually when you’re very very low energy. It’s crazy.

id also suggest looking into diet too. If you have a poor diet or live a stressful lifestyle this could cause all of theee things. Personally not convinced by perimenopause. It’s another new thing which they can use as an excuse to not treat and gaslight women with sub-optimal health.

I’ve paid enough in taxes don’t worry. By “we” I’m clearly referring to the general public
