I forgot to say, he must have been in his late 50s

FrannyandZooey · 18/05/2008 18:22

evening
been out with family Boco, was v nice
Pink well done!
UR what advice and what progression? you mean MORE than snogging
goji berries are definite 10 / 10 yes but they do taste like soapy wood IMO
I really like quorn but it is very processed and definitely doesn't count as a vegetable. It's kind of vegetarian junk food IMO

UnderRated · 18/05/2008 18:24

Meant to say, Well done pink. WHat an acheivement.

I like some quorn too.

I have to go out now but yes, more than snogging Am all conflicted and confused and and like a naughty 17 yr old.

Glad a lovely day was had with Boco & co

FrannyandZooey · 18/05/2008 18:27

oh dear at conflicted etc
was it because of how it happened or just because "we are mothers and we don't do that kind of thing", something stuck in your head like that?
or was it just a bit quick or something?
oh I am sorry it isn't all happy and nice

Well done, Pink, that's a very impressive time too!

We went to Walberswick today and it was lovely. We had fish and chips in The Bell and then walked along the beach collecting holy stones and things that look like cornelian but never are. Then we got takeaway cake and brought them home and had tea and now, I suppose, I ought ot put them in the bath and so on.

Did you read the Guardian family supplement? The woman with 13 children (trying for fourth) washes and irons their uniform every single day. My GOD, mine are lucky if they get a clean one on Monday, clean shirts yes, I can see that, but the whole thing, x13?

Was the woods thing good then, Franny, and were the spontaneous happenings interesting?

MrsCarrot · 18/05/2008 18:29

Oo-er, UR

FrannyandZooey · 18/05/2008 18:35

ooh Walberswick, The Bell, ooh, lovely

yes it was v nice; I didn't see many spontaneous happenings except a very tormented looking man carrying a giant wooden mushroom, and a wolf man but I will let Boco tell you about that

the children mostly shunned all the activities and played with sticks in the wood
as they do when you have paid £10 to get in
but a good time was had by all and I had some excellent quiche - you would have liked it - very very good salads, and a cup of rather bitter chai

I read the 13 children thing. Bit odd really. The clothes ironing and all that.

Walberswick sounds lovely, MrsC. That woman in the guardian must be nuts. Who would try for a 14th? If you can have 13, I imagine you don't need to try very hard for another.

It is not unhappy - it was all very nice. Twice. But that's the thing. I am meant to be 30 and sensible and not going round shagging random men. Which isn't quite what happened. And also, we said we weren't going to. So I thought we weren't. But we did anyway. And it was nice. Very nice. But we, um, weren't as careful as we should have been and now I'm wondering if I need to go the the pharmacy tomorrow and oh, I'm so bloody stupid.

Sorry. I am sure none of you want to know the details of my sex life. And now I'm going out. Sorry to dump and run...

pinkspottywellies · 18/05/2008 18:37

You got a mention on my back sign MrsC

I can't imagine have thirteen children, or washing and ironing school uniforms once a week let alone every day! Oh I have much to learn!

UnderRated · 18/05/2008 18:38

at quiche.

Interesting wolf man and giant mushroom. How very odd.

FrannyandZooey · 18/05/2008 18:38

oh gawd is that it UR
oh well if it was NICE then ENJOY IT fgs, what a waste otherwise. Twice
yes go to the chemist I would say
life gets complicated enough otherwise

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 18/05/2008 18:39

wolf man was NOT interesting UR
strange and perturbing yes
interesting no

OP posts:
MrsCarrot · 18/05/2008 18:40

Oh, yum to quiche, I have had some very filthy ones recently, all blancmangey egg with the consistency of having been swung round in a sock. I want good tarts.

Playing in a wood sounds lovely, I know what you mean about paying for it though. Ten pounds each is very steep for them to poke sticks. Wolf man?

It wasn't just the ironing though was it, there were quite a few odd things. Like her recoiling at the notion of hand me downs between siblings. She'd rather go to Primark than re-use their own clothes. Odd.

FrannyandZooey · 18/05/2008 18:43

yes it didn't add up
you think people with huge families are going to be all messy kitchens and people who get a bit anal about matching clothes will have them all spaced out and only a few
so they didn't fit my nice little pigeon holes at all

OP posts:
MrsCarrot · 18/05/2008 18:44

Did I, Pink?

UR - Yes, popping to the pharmacy might be an idea! Fuck being sensible at 30, have wild sex with abandonement I say.

FrannyandZooey · 18/05/2008 18:45

oh no it was £10 for 2 adults! £2 for a child
it was fine really as was nice grounds, plenty to look at, a very fun climbing net on trees thing, etc

OP posts:
MrsCarrot · 18/05/2008 18:45

yes, messy noisy kitchens, what is the point of a large family otherwise?

MrsCarrot · 18/05/2008 18:48

oh, yes, that is more reasonable

such regimented times too, dinner then, bed then, quick chat to spouse then. Pelvic floor exercises then. Each to their own I suppose.

FrannyandZooey · 18/05/2008 18:49

ironed clothes
tick
brushed 13 sets teeth
tick
gave spouse hand job
tick

OP posts:
MrsCarrot · 18/05/2008 18:51

No hand job surely, they are trying for no 14 remember!

MrsCarrot · 18/05/2008 18:54

what about titles then, we are returning to only one I assume?

FrannyandZooey · 18/05/2008 18:57

oh whoops
a hand job just seemed more tidy and less likely to lead to further ironing
but you're right

yes just one thread this week I reckon
it wasn't a huge success having two was it

OP posts:
MrsCarrot · 18/05/2008 18:58

I think it was a roaring success personally, much easier to keep up with the thread I don't know what all the moaning was about

FrannyandZooey · 18/05/2008 18:59

I think we are going to have something very stodgy, comforting and easy for dinner
fried egg sandwiches or toasted cheese sandwiches? what do you reckon?

oh I have had a mango, raisins, orange juice, pineapple and grapes

OP posts:
MrsCarrot · 18/05/2008 18:59

you big bunch of moaners
