Random very painful lumps on vagina

Out of nowhere I have had incredibly painful small lumps on my vulva around the opening, one between my vagina and anus, and one on the opening of my anus. Around my bumhole is also very itchy and sore Blush Nothing has changed to cause this, does anyone have any idea what it could be?

My daughter had a herpes outbreak last month for the first time and it sounds similar you really need to be going and getting anti viral medication from the sexual health clinic. She didn't want to go to the doctors either. She had a second outbreak a couple of weeks later that was actually worse despite everything we read saying the first was usually the worst. She's now been given the antiviral meds to take for longer.

Thank you everyone for everything! I was planning on going yesterday after work but it has been getting much better day by day. I know I should still go and get tested to make sure if it is herpes or not so I will do that but I am almost certain it is. It now only hurts when I pee as it hits the sore parts and stings, or when I touch the specific area. I can sit down, lay down, walk around, everything with barely any pain. I am so thankful as it’s been a very scary past week, I am just so glad it seems to be over.

Also, I have been thinking back and I remember my boyfriend had a cold sore a few days before my outbreak. I’m unsure whether he gave me type one down there or if I already had type two and my cold and general stress brought it on.

Glad you’re feeling much better, remember while u still have the sores you are infectious. It does come back time to time, especially if u are run down. I think around a week is average for the pain but just be careful x

Hey OP, do try and see your doctor or a GUM clinic nurse/dr. They can prescribe anti-viral medication for herpes (as tablets or as cream or both) which can help reduce the length of the outbreak and the pain.

Yes, this sounds like the most likely scenario. If he gets coldsores and had one before your outbreak, it looks like the mystery is solved.
He doesn’t even need to have given you oral sex. He could have wiped his mouth and then touched you intimately.
You can buy acyclovir online for future outbreaks.
