For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I am fascinated by Synesthesia, a friend of mine has it hugely. words, numbers, names, music, all have colours and patterns to him. He is computer geek who met his now wife in Second Life.

Today I have had jaffa cakes (now extra Organgey, does that count at all?)

I have blueberries, rasp and grapes in my bag though....

OsmosisBanana · 25/04/2008 10:45

I'd love to have it temporarily, just to see what it was like.

OsmosisBanana · 25/04/2008 11:58

zippitippitoes · 25/04/2008 12:02

i find the whole what you see in your head that other people doint necessarily but you never speak about it because you assume they do interesting

stuffitllama · 25/04/2008 12:11

not names for me but some people do
not letters or numbers either

some people have colours for every word, i can't imagine that

stuffitllama · 25/04/2008 12:12

fmf I'm sorry I made you explain again! just for the record i don't think you are a victim of deep background consumer manipulation

should i make that public

Fullmoonfiend · 25/04/2008 12:18

zippitippitoes · 25/04/2008 12:42

oh the boiler engineer is here he told me the cupboard means they can refuse to work on the boiler

but he is doing it but he says it has to be changed

i am praying he fixes it

Tatties · 25/04/2008 13:25

I do the colours thing, particularly for days of the week, months, names

My week is like this:

Monday - blue
Tuesday - pale yellow
Wednesday - pale green
Thursday - dark purple
Friday - yellow
Saturday - red
Sunday - dark greyish-blue

For some reason I see my name as red, and other things associated with me, such as the day of the week I was born and the month I was was born (but maybe in different shades)

zippitippitoes · 25/04/2008 13:40

ooh interestinhg

boiler has been plumbed in bsackwards

zippitippitoes · 25/04/2008 13:45

Tatties · 25/04/2008 13:47

zippitippitoes · 25/04/2008 14:05
