For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Right, bread is cooked, I can go to bed.
Night all

UnderRated · 25/04/2008 00:17

zippi, you belong here - this is a good place to talk if you don't mind it being public.

You are always very hard on yourself. Hindsight is a wonderful thing - it is easy to see how we could/ should have done things differently but at the time, we do the best we can.

zippitippitoes · 25/04/2008 00:21

that moment is imprinted on my mind...nedless to say havbing tole the boarding house man we went home again

theres more to it than that but that is the part i hate of that day

UnderRated · 25/04/2008 00:38

How are you this morning, Zippi? And everyone?

Off to hermitage again

movingtoindia · 25/04/2008 07:46

morning all, one banana
zippi you sound very very low, I hope you are better this morning, I want to send a cheerleading dance to cheer you up but you might say in disgust
bero well done on the courgettes on the banana and for saying hello

movingtoindia · 25/04/2008 07:49

Lully it's impossible to know the meaning of it until you've called the solicitor.. they can't mind if you ask why the information is required, surely?
Osmo you didn't say you lived in Pakistan, flip. are you pleased you went with your mum and dad rather than being "sent home" to be eddimacated?

stuffitllama · 25/04/2008 07:59

ahem -- as you were

and thank you bbee

Franny it's great that you are sharing your mojo again, I definitely can't come to the meet up but can you put some pictures up of veggie jollity afterwards

stuffitllama · 25/04/2008 08:03

womble thanks again that evocative piece. feel like i need something to look forward too among the form filling in and phone calls ..

i always had fran as a blonde ? mais bien sur
on that i want to start a conversation about what colour are days of the week
my monday is red, my tuesday is yellow etc
who has synesthesia? i bet it's huge among empathetic veggies

FrannyandZooey · 25/04/2008 08:09

Lully I can't think that you are legally required to give information about your dad, unless he has committed a crime...in which case surely it would be the police that would contact you? Sorry it is no doubt dredging stuff up for you.

Zippi those awful guilty thoughts are so damaging. Can you talk it over with someone? We have all done things that we wish we had done differently. The important thing is whether we can learn from that or whether we keep making the same mistakes again and again. Yes i do think you should tell your dd about bipolar stuff, as she obviously doesn't get it, but then again it sounds like she may not be the most understanding about it. But that's up to her I suppose.

Banana and Wombling it was interesting to hear about your lives - bloody hell if anyone thought differently of you Wombling then they are a tosser of the first degree.

TooT at blowpipes. Ds very fond of blowpipes after (adult) friend of ours taught him

grapes, banana, apple, raisins, strawberries
at least 4 maybe 5
was ravenous

right will check email for secret mission missives

FrannyandZooey · 25/04/2008 08:11

I must have gone blonde lately in my personality
people always used to think I was a redhead with wild curls or something

stuffitllama · 25/04/2008 08:11

Fran you are so thoughtful
Really nice you are back

OsmosisBanana · 25/04/2008 09:34

I didn't mean you came across as 'blonde' I just pictured you blonde.

Stuffit - I did get sent back to the UK to be edumacated when I got to 12. But we were living in Zambia by then, which is a bit lacking in good secondary schools. It was either that or South Africa which would have been even weirder.

I'm not too scarred from the experience. She says, scratching and blinking uncrontollably.

Slur - yes, I am ES.

stuffitllama · 25/04/2008 09:36

Please don't think the blonde thing is offensive. I am blonde and recently came over all unnecessary on an "aren't blondes lovely and dizzy" thread.

Thanks Osmo, we want to keep ours with us and hope it's not too disruptive. You have really been about haven't you.

Crunchy thai vegetables.

stuffitllama · 25/04/2008 09:39

I mean I was about it, the blonde stupid thing.
Dumplings I don't know zippi, but how about beef in beer.

stuffitllama · 25/04/2008 09:43

also want to explain..
am laying a few red herrings as my alter ego as I don't want to be tracked down to here

OsmosisBanana · 25/04/2008 09:43

It wasn't that disruptive moving around, I loved it. It was sad to leave people behind every time but kids can be very resiliant.

OsmosisBanana · 25/04/2008 09:43

How mysterious!

stuffitllama · 25/04/2008 09:44

Ours have been so far, but you know, straws and camels' backs. Would not like to see them only twice a year, I know that some people have no choice though.

stuffitllama · 25/04/2008 09:45

stuffitllama · 25/04/2008 09:45
