Anyone else here have covid vaccine injury?

beeloubee · 25/09/2024 21:57

I want to hear from others vaccine injured. Please no-one come on here telling me injuries don't exist. I'm suffering so much since pfizer two with musculoskeletal issues. On 9th surgery since it. Was fit and healthy before working as a postwoman. Mid thirties. Can barely walk now.

I see others on fb with injuries. But never seen it mentioned on mumsnet which is odd. I would like to know if there's anyone here. Thanks.

This type of thinking is really astonishing, almost unbelievable really.

Why?

Just because it didn’t happen to you? Another smug and complacent person

christmascalypso · 29/09/2024 19:54

@BreatheAndFocus @thing47

I was asked to administer vaccines in the pandemic as I am a health professional but declined as I've never given a vaccine in my life! Only a few hours training was given. Frozen shoulder after Covid vaccines was quite common due the inexperience of staff unfortunately.

Iamnotgettingatakeaway · 29/09/2024 19:54

The vast majority of those who took the vaccine will defend it to the last even when evidence is staring them in the face. I probably would too if I had allowed myself to be pumped with that rubbish. It’s hard to admit you did the wrong thing.

That you blame anti vaxxers for saying that they're dangerous, even though you yourself have been damaged by the vaccine, and that even now you are gutted that you can't have more vaccines. I find that type of thinking absolutely fascinating really.

Lovelysummerdays · 29/09/2024 19:58

I’m generally very pro- vaccine but was very ill after my second covid vaccine. I suspect it caused inflammation which allowed my hitherto undiagnosed Lyme disease to run rampant tbh. Possibly it would cropped up at some point regardless but I wouldn’t be keen to give it another go.

Well clearly they didn’t damage the majority of people, but they did damage an unfortunate few.

I’m pro vax. I support public health measure, yes even after an injury. What’s unbelievable about that? I’ve had 100’s of vaccines with no harm. l just couldn’t tolerate MNRA.

Iheartmysmart · 29/09/2024 20:06

Not me as I didn’t have a booster after the initial two vaccines, but both my sisters did. One had a pulmonary embolism within days and the other a deep vein thrombosis. Neither had suffered anything like that before.

I have psoriasis since April 2024. My dermatologist said it has likely been as a result of the covid vaccine since I have never had it before and have not had any of the usual triggers like stress etc. It just started out of nowhere. Anyone else?

Yes me too.

And my daughter developed idiopathic anaphylaxis too,

What a load of cod this thread is. Totally irresponsible
People are posting all sorts of nonsensical conditions and saying their doctor said it was from the vaccine. This is pure propaganda and should be pulled

You sound like one of those people who insisted covid didn't exist.
These conditions aren't nonsensical at all they're real and they're devastating.
There but for the grace of god...

@ArseInTheCoOpWindow is there a non MRNA option in the pipeline I wonder?

I’m amazed this thread is still up

I got accused of being anti vax on here after being one of the early cohort to have it!

i hope some of these posters aren’t implying that there are no issues otherwise these things would not be going on

People like you who throw around what was initially a mindless catch-all Daily Mail headline grabber phrase of "Anti-vaxxer" despite even suffering yourself! It is really quite incredible the level of redundant thinking. What is an "Anti-vaxxer?" lets get our definitions straight. You say you've had lots of vaccines before. I think you'll find that is the majority of the population. Many among them just don't feel comfortable taking this particular vaccine. And there's, thankfully, (despite a huge frightening effort) no such thing as compulsory medical treatment. There's such a thing as choice. Doesn't not render one agaibst all vaccines.

Also there is a huge number of medical people who themselves have refused this vaccine. I know many, including nurses who worked on Covid wards seeing the effects of Covid up close. Still not taking it. Even my GP who hauled me over the coals for refusing it and gave me a long lecture at the time. Well I asked her earlier this year if she has had the yearly boosters, she said 'I'm not in the vulnerable category like you are' so in other words no. Interestingly I didn't get a lecture this time either.

wtf?

I wouldn’t touch the Daily Mail ever. 🤣

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 29/09/2024 20:38

@EmeraldRoulette

Yrs, there’s Novavax. It’s hard to track down, even harder on the nhs, but it’s an antigen.

EmeraldRoulette · 29/09/2024 20:43

@ArseInTheCoOpWindow interesting, thanks.

Sorry to smear you then. Apologies.

But that was the origin of the term. It was a nice, tidy, phrase. Didn't require much thought to utilise. Easy to slur people with. Shuts people down. Easy dismissal 'They're expressing concerns about the Jab? anti-vaxxer!!'

It worked. People liked it and started throwing it towards anyone who simply said they didn't want the jab.

Crikeyalmighty · 29/09/2024 21:10

@FrancisSeaton I can assure you that for some people it's very very real - I hadn't been to the doctors for 21 years at the point I was suddenly floored. I have been honest though and said I don't know if it was vaccine or covid as had very close together

I'm not going to deny vaccine damage can and does occur. But some of these so called links on this thread are ridiculous and you know it will get hijacked with anecdotal evidence and people with an anti vax agenda

Icanseeinthedark · 29/09/2024 23:07

@EmeraldRoulette Yes there is. I had it a few months ago through the NHS. Novavax. Zero side effects this time compared to previous covid vaccines.

Crikeyalmighty · 29/09/2024 23:21

@FrancisSeaton yes I'm aware of that too. I'm not anti vax at all - I had 4 after all -but for me I won't risk another of this type . I do agree though that it can just be coincidence in some cases- in my case I'm 90% certain it was either covid OR vaccine but I genuinely couldn't say which

whyhere · 30/09/2024 07:10

This thread is an interesting microcosm of what's wrong with the world today! People taking up entrenched positions and being unable to accept that we simply don't know if many of those injured (and I'm one of them) are in that position due to the vaccine, Covid or just bad luck.

Why get so heated and be so aggressive and accusatory? No wonder there are so many wars.....

ChipsnGraveee · 29/09/2024 16:43

I also know someone who developed GBS and was in hospital for almost 6 months. Completely paralysed, it was terrible. Started a week after her booster and has also been directly attributed to the vaccine.

A close friend developed GBS after a flu vaccine. She was in hospital and a rehab unit for a year. This was 10 years ago and she did have covid vaccines and was ok though she hasn't had any more flu jabs.

The point isn't whether the vaccine may have caused issues in some people. The issue is people coming on here to urge a list of disparate symptoms that apparently their GP has said was due to the vaccine.

There is no way in the universe that a GP worth anything would say that someone's eczema or headaches or mouth ulcers is definitely caused by the vaccine as there would be 100% no way of knowing. Someone is trying to claim something incredibly common that they got 3 months after they had the vaccine was definitely caused by the vaccine. It's ridiculous.

FrancisSeaton · 30/09/2024 16:55

@smalltoe exactly

Unforgettablefire · 30/09/2024 17:54

@smalltoe I don’t know about headaches or mouth ulcers, that’s not what I was replying or referring to.
My dd is seeing a rheumatologist. A specialist and she’s fighting a losing battle trying to get DD’s inflammation markers down and has her on serious treatments. She’s literally crippled with pain all over her life is ruined.
The specialist told my dd her immune system has gone into overdrive because of the covid jabs she knows what she’s talking about. These things are happening and are being documented.
